Due to a change in circumstances, Flossie and Sheena have been able to go back home! We are over the moon for John their owner and the two girls.

Hi we had paul for almost 5 years and its broke our hearts to have sent him back to the kennels miss him so much xx ive tried to comment on here but just kept getting to upset . Things have changed at home since we had Paul the addition of little grandchildren who i look after most days plus other stuff so it was with a heavy heart he was returned im so glad to see he has been reserved he is a fantastic boy with lots of character he loves to be with you when your there ,he can be left while you go out he's very clean he does not chew unless its a sqeeky toy he walks lovley on the lead ,as big as he is you dont notice after a short time he hates a pebbly beach he is great with other animals i could go on and on but to whoever is giving him a home bless you xx you will not regret it if i can be off any help to you with his likes and dislikes please feel free to contact me im sure Ruth will pass my details to you Love you Paul xxx

There are some absolutely super hounds at Daybreaks and I wonder why some are there for a while and not snapped up straight away. Tam is one such dog. He's super friendly and if I could have another he'd have been whisked away on the spot! He is certain to make some lucky family very happy xx

Sorry Flossie just given my cuddle to Paul - this is why we need more than one per day. Will let Gemma (your sister) know tomorrow when I give print out the Tim her human. Paws crossed for a sofa soon. Axx

Jimmy was soooooo stressed going to the vets yesterday for his booster. He did not stop panting but was a really good boy with a fluffy dog in the waiting room and then I took him for a walk in the woods before going back to the kennels. He is very loveable and affectionate. Beautiful boy x

Sheena was quite stressed when she first arrived home with me last night but has had a very settled night sprawled out across our bed with me, Foxy and Coilean... Poor Robbie.... He was relegated to the sofa.. but she needed some extra TLC. She is adorable.... Love her very much. I used to see her at the vets with Sylv and John when she was undergoing treatment for a broken front leg... Such a sad situation. My thoughts are with John her owner xx

This is so heart wrenching, Suzy and john were wonderful people, completely devoted to their four greyhounds. It's just your worst nightmare who will look after my dogs.......... Flossie is Bertie's litter sister, and looks so much like him, those eyes !! If she is anything like Bertie ( which Silv used to say she was ) then you couldn't wish for a more loving wonderful dog !! I wish there was room at the inn !!! I really hope both these girls find a sofa really soon, although Bertie is 10 he acts like a three year old, please don't let their ages put you off , the oldies reward you many times over. It's just the saddest thing xx

Oh Paul, what a shame you have had to be returned but I'm sure a new sofa will soon be coming. You came back while we were at Daybreaks today and what a very handsome boy you are - your photos don't do you justice. You also were very friendly and gentle. Sending you a cuddle today. xx

Welcome to Sheena and Flossie who came back to the kennels just as we were leaving today. Lovely, friendly girls. So hope new sofas come along very soon for both of them.

We were just leaving when Flossie and Sheena were returned to day. So very sad for all concerned. They are both lovely girls and I really hope they find homes very soon as it must be very confusing for them.

What can we say about this lovely big boy, we fostered him sadly just overnight as our other greyhound had been attacked in the past and has now got issues. He is a fantastic boy very loving and could be very loyal, to new owners. He has a fantastic attitude and got on well with our other dog chichis a pug, was NOT interested in our neighbours cat who crossed the garden in front of him. he just wants hugs and kisses and sleep. We are very sad to see him back to the kennels today but know he will not be there long at all. If you are looking for a companion this is the boy for you. We are just so sorry we could not give him a forever home. Any questions please feel free to contact me. Best of luck Paul and I'm sure there is a sofa coming your way very soon :).....
