Took this lovely boy to Melbicks today to meet the public, he is such a happy boy, very friendly, was good with young children petting him. Didn't seem fazed with other dogs, enjoyed the company of Belle, Nellie & Mystic. It won't be long until he finds a forever home. x

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Wow, where have the last 12 months gone? We welcomed Brae into our home (only on foster you understand!) a year ago today and she knew by day 2 that she was never going back. Our bouncy, cheeky, toy chomping, soil digging, beautiful black girl has blossomed so much since that day last January (even more so over the past 4 months - almost as if something clicked and she realised that this IS her home, her family, her safe warm place). She's gained in confidence, isn't backwards at coming forwards when asking for treats, adores Rosie, hogs the sofa if she gets onto it first and is such a pleasure to have living with us. Her hock injury doesn't slow her down - if anything, it makes her more determined to walk, run and with encouragement from big sis, race around like a lunatic! We love her more (if that's possible) each day. Tash & John

Oh my goodness, how gorgeous is this boy! He is so tall, and loves to have a fuss - giving some lovely kisses in return. He towers over his kennel mate Jess, but they make such a cute couple, and were both all curled up together for the evening as I did my rounds tonight. xx

    I’m Homed

It was so lovely to see Saffy today. She is such a beautiful little girl, and is very happy in the company of the big handsome Marco - resting her head on his back, but not afraid to let him know that trying to squeeze onto a small bed next to her is probably not the best idea!!! She just loves company and will take as much fuss as is available. She really should be out in her very own home, where a good routine will really help her - she is such a fabulous little girl. Fingers crossed for you my sweetheart. xxxx

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

What a big, handsome fella Marco is. He is enjoying sharing the big kennel & run with the gorgeous Saffy, she loves him and will stand with her head resting on his back for ages. She does however tell him off when he tries to get on the small bed while she's comfy on there, especially as there are beds galore for him to choose from! He is really coming out of his shell and is a very friendly lad. xxxx

This pretty little girl was the joint winner of my clean kennel award today - along with the handsome Bob. She is such a beautiful girl, lively and fun but then enjoys a chill and a relax too. Sending her a cuddle on this chilly evening. xxx

    I’m Homed

I met this gorgeous boy today, and what a beautiful, chilled boy he is. He is my favourite - a black boy with a lovely grey face, and I caught him this afternoon lying on the floor with all four legs in the air, snoozing and showing everything to the world!! He is also the joint winner of my clean kennel award today - a quick straighten of his blankets and he was done. Big cuddles for you my handsome. xx
