A late happy birthday wag and lick to my wonderful chum Lena - I know your mum and dad will have spoilt you rotten - which is just as it should be! Here we have had lovely autumn sunshine and I have mostly been watching mum while she collects the leaves in the garden. And of course looking very gorgeous in my new Macintosh. I even went out in the rain in it last week! Xxx

Hi helenanddave, results back show he has a urine infection. I am going to collect some antibiotics tomorrow and hopefully this will help. He has put on 2kg recently which is definitely a step in the right direction 🙂

Happy 9th birthday to our beautiful clever girl. Sorry you had Obreedience practice today but it was a lovely sunny afternoon and you were brilliant as ever, had lots of sausage and big sis Lola was cheering from the sidelines! You might be 9 but you're still our bubba. Love and cuddles from mum, dad & your big sis Lola xxxx

Any news on Eoins blood tests at the vet? Hope he's ok. sending him loads of hugs. Sorry we couldn't be at the BBQ. Milly has injured her toe and is confined to sofa rest (what's new!) so couldn't bring her and didn't want to leave her alone for a long period of time. Sounds like everyone had a great time! xx

Carla
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Carla was a bit strange when I got home last night , didn't eat all her dinner and wouldn't go outside and In an instant I knew what was wrong , same thing as last year , FIREWORKS , come on its getting ridiculous now fireworks on Halloween ?? , So Ive started on climatising the dogs to loud noises again, Carrie dosen't show any emotion about anything apart from food , which is why I love her so much as she's just like me , but Mummy can still be so nervous sometimes but Im happy to say after an afternoon of listening to the loudest bangs and firework shows I can find on youtube , Mummy is just sleeping , it seemed to work last year as you may remember my neighbour left me a note saying they were both out in the garden during a fireworks show , I think she just needs to get used to a loud bangs again at the moment and know everything is OK by me not making a fuss and just sitting there quietly and leaving her be.

Foxy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
We had a film crew at our house for a couple of days filming Foxy for a programme 'Pets who hate Vets'. He was a perfect candidate as the poor fella has been through a lot in his life and understandably the vets is somewhere he rather wouldn't be! As part of the programme, another vet and behaviourist were brought in to assess Foxy and it was deemed that his problem wasn't behavioural (as suggested by Willows following his MRI last year) but he was in pain (as I thought!!!!). He was therefore referred to Dovecoat Veterinary Hospital where he underwent surgery and he has just been discharge having healed well. As his problem was not behavioural, he won't be used in the programme (although I have been told there may be a bit), you can see for yourself - the programme is on Channel 5 on Tuesday 3rd November at 8pm.

Jed
Over the Rainbow Bridge
A bit of advice please. Jed is starting to bully Lottie over beds, he keeps making her get of what is her bed and lying on it himself it seems to just to make a point, sometimes poor Lottie just ends up lying on the floor, I have put more beds out now to try and resolve the situation. Is it better to just allow them any bed rather than having one of their own? Lottie doesn't seem to have the confidence to just take his bed when he is being like this. Jed knows he is in the wrong because he scuttles of the bed as soon as I tell him off!
