Definite progress. Benny is now coming to me for some fuss. His eyes are less sad. We are off to the vets on Tuesday to have his stitches checked. He is such a gentle, lovely lad.

A big thank you to Ode and Norman for helping Lilah 'jump out the boot' yesterday at the 'Pets at Home' Stratford road show. On arrival, Lilah was reluctant to leave the car, but once Norman brought Ode to meet her, she jumped straight out and trottted along nicely behind him to the venue and settled down well. This boy is beautiful; gorgeous looking and nice-natured too. Thank you Ode; you are a star. x

This blunderbuss is still a great big idiot! Currently in training for his silver & trying not to stamp all over Ash when running around like a loon! He will be doing The Great Greyhound Walk in Stratford next week & will be at the Daybreaks Birthday Party & the Dogs Day Out In The Country. He says to Pam Dewer - I have had my crystal bowl prize from last year engraved & am rehearsing my presenting speech to hand it over this year & PS Come over for that piece of cake!! He also sends big love to Kate & wishes Sam hadn't left him behind yesterday when he came up to Daybreaks to get some Burns!!

Ash

Hello! Not posted for a while, but wanted to let everyone know how Ash is. Well, he's eating well (4 steaks the other day!) but unfortunately he is always going to look thin the vet says! He is a beautiful boy, but his back legs are shot & are never going to get any better - he can only manage little walks & his back legs will often go from under him when out for a walk or trying to get up or down. He is unable to poo by himself, so we are always there to hold him up. He yips 3 times a night for us to get up & let him out for a wee too! It is a beautiful thing though when he struggles to get up to greet you & bats his lovely snowflake eyelashes! We are hoping to bring him to the Daybreaks Birthday Party &/or The Dogs Day Out In The Country - he won't be able to get around much, so we will bring his bed for him to lie on in a shady spot! We feel lucky to still have him with us after all he has been through x
