Podge also came with us to Mell Square this afternoon. He's a lovely boy, who almost couldn't believe his eyes when he arrived at the roadshow, so many new things to see and smell. He quickly settled after a trot round the block and then got very comfy on a duvet. So comfy in fact that he turned onto his back, legs in the air and showed everyone what Greyhounds do best! He had to be persuaded off the duvet when it was time to leave! He was excellent when people stopped to fuss him, a lovely boy and travelled very well in the car. Mand x

We took Duchess along to the Mell Square roadshow this afternoon. She is such a lovely little girl and was amazing with everyone who came to meet her. She was very gentle with everyone and was quite happy greeting everyone, rather than sitting down. In fact, it was quite difficult handing her back! Hope she gets a home soon, she's very special. Just given them both a shower , they have shiny coats but a bit dandruffy , and just dried off in the sun , they look lovely and better without their collars and now they are just both finishing the drying process on my bed so damp sheets for me !!

Deena met the cats today and although showed a little interest, we are going to work with her and she is off to a new home (pending home visit) on Friday 3rd April 🙂

How uneventful , I realised this morning Carla has never met the Chickens so we went down the garden to see them and even took Emily out of the run and showed her and she just sniffed her . Hopefully going to try to come over to daybreaks in a few weeks to say hello
