Wow! Where have the last 12 months gone? "Happy Gotcha Day" to our little stunner Rosie Po. We've had so many giggles, snuggles, licks and a few tears during this time; we're still learning about each other daily and you never fail to amaze us gorgeous. You're a fabulous girl and fantastic big sis to new addition. Love you more every day sweetie pie, Mom & Dad xx and special licks from Brae x

Risky, I'm so glad you had a lovely day out in Stratford yesterday. It sounds like the gentle exercise and magnatherapy has helped your poorly hock, meaning you can enjoy your walks now - I think I'd be hard pressed to finish a 3 mile walk still smiling!!You are such a special boy, I really hope your turn will come soon now. Thanks to Norman for taking you out for a lovely change of scene. Big cuddles.xxxx

Hi Mary, I took Skip home on 4th March last year...he is absolutely gorgeous and so funny. Twiggy sometimes looks at me as if to say "When is he going back?" Sure she loves him really! You are right he and Champ do make a very handsome couple! :))) Xxx

Every now and then one of our two will turn over and wake the other or one will walk across the other,I dont think there is a faster way of being woken up then a greyhound barking at the other. They also have words if we go out and leave them we get to the bottom of the drive and can hear them, I think it is Archive putting Breeze in her place. He is in charge Breeze is happy to follow along until they are given Kongs, bones or any other treat then she gets bit stroppy, I would never leave them together alone with anything. Saying that while Breeze has been in and out of the vets and been having treatment on her tail if she has cried out Archive has put himself in front of her. Muzzles are really useful even if it just relaxes you a bit which in turn will relax the dogs. Xxx

Charlotte
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi LadyVictoria and TJ thank you for the places comments I had not spotted them until my wife mentioned it to me just now. LadyVictoria we will keep an eye on the website and do as you suggested so our girl can seduce people in giving greyhounds a chance. We know she like and enjoys the train but due to her stool issue have not done bus yet. TJ we shall keep it in mind at this stage we are checking how she responds to food and treats. We are slowly trying her on burns again. Fingers crossed but it seems ok. I am pleased for Charlotte that at least sardines in olive oil is fine because she does love fish. We are really pleased at the moment as Charlotte is really settling in. Becoming more play full she has even given as a playful bark this week that was the first time. She enjoys her fluffy toys and tosses them in the air to catch again. She is running in the garden or playing with a ball. I have the feeling she would enjoy running around an enclosure for a bit, but we need to ensure we have recall first.

Just to echo what everyone has said my experience was very similar with Bertie and Blade, having Charlie as an only dog for 13 years when sady he passed away, we adopted Bertie, we were happy still with one dog until Blade came into the kennels under very sad circumstances , we ended up fostering and it soon became permanent.... however my heart went out to Bertie I felt so guilty every time I cuddled Blade almost to the point that I did it without Bertie seeing ( seems hilarious now ) Bertie did except Blade straight away but would growl if Blade came to near whilst he was on his bed or if he was startled or stepped on whilst sleeping....it totally floored me as I had NO experience of having two dogs ( Blade is also quite a nervous dog and becomes snappy if scared ) again a totally new experience for me.... its now a well over a year since Blade arrived and although they are not lovey dovey over each other they get on fabulously they are like an old married couple and really don't like to be apart at all, the experience of two for me is amazing its the best thing I ever did !! hang on in there its worth it in the end !!
