Hoping (unless it snows as we are traveling from Derby!) to come see u again tomorrow Amy and hoping my Ruby (formly pixie who we rehomed from daybreaks 4 years ago) is a little less skittish & snappy this time when you do some bottom sniffing. I will try and remember a few treats for you again as you did seem to rather like them! Lots of fuss from me to you. And fingers crossed Ruby might enjoy your company in the run this time.Xx

  • Rigsby (Risky)

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Risky has today made his first appearence on a roadshow at Stratford Pets at Home. Having probably never seen tiny white furries before in his life he obviously reacted at first very excitedly(sorry Sue about the broken cup knocked off the merchandise table!!!). However after 3 hours meeting and greeting people in a wonderful affectionate way he was beginning to understand that there are other dogs in the world other than greyhounds and was behaving in a much more sensible way towards them. He is a very affectionate loving dog who with an owner who understands he is still learning about other breeds will find Daybreaks current longest resident a wonderful companion.

Will.i am HOME! Had a quick snooze in the car, a sniff around the garden and have just taken dad for a walk down the canal, and now curled up with Robdog in the big bed(after trying out some of the others) and a lie down in the sun on the lush green grass.

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Well I now have a hound on three and a half legs some improvement on yesterday. I could give Jed an Oscar for the "woe is me look" he has perfected this performance, the slightly averted downward gaze with the head at just the right angle and the two light chocolates looking at you - pure drama and guess what I fall for it every time - the biscuit consumption has tripled these last few days!! Who's the mug!! Jokes aside glad he is on the mend. Wishing all my fellow fund raisers a successful one at Pets At Home Stratford - pity I have to work. I would suggest you take the thermals with you!
