I wondered about the new photo of Kin, and I'm delighted to read about him going out with Joyce & Libby for some training. He is a beautiful boy, and this will really help him, not only in his quest for a home but also for his own long term benefit. Keep up the good work Kin, and big thanks to Joyce.x

Given you my cuddle today Risky but could do with more. You really need to find a home - paws crossed. Stanley and Gemma so excited to see me last night at their humans - Gemma was nearly in my cardy pocket looking for treats so poor Stan only got 1. Please thank Auntie Ruth or whoever sent me my Valentine's card - first one I have had in a while. Annaxx

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

We'd be lying to say that the past month has been easy, what with accidents on the carpet/our bed/their bed, visits to the vet for medication/tests, chewing through coats, demolishing toys, barking at 'silly o'clock' in the morning... but this little girl has well and truly gotten under our skin and there was never any doubt that she'd be staying with us. A puppy like character who wants to be into everything, there's never a dull moment. Rosie accepted Brae from the word go, showing support, patience and kindness (to us as well as her new sister) throughout and we are very proud to confirm that we will indeed be adopting Brae within the next few days.

I have taken the lovely Kin to the park twice now for some Tony Knight training, he is a little excited by other dogs, especially when moving fast around him!! He’s picking up the training really well; he calms down very quickly and will happy walk away with you. He even met my crossbreed Libby this week and walked next to her perfectly. He needs a little bit more work but he will get there. He is such a gorgeous loving boy who loves a fuss. See you on Sunday handsome!!

I'm so glad my lovely boy had a day out at Stratford, a nice change from kennels routine for him. LadyVictoria is right, he does seem to be quite fed up recently poor boy, all his kennel mates keep going off to new homes leaving him behind. I really hope he doesn't have to wait too much longer for his very own sofa. Big cuddles in the meantime. xxx

    I’m Homed

This cute little girl was very wary and skittish when she arrived, but what a difference a week makes! Still a little bit wary of sudden moves around her head, she is so much better after spending the week in the company of the handsome Mel, now dashing up for a fuss and making sure she doesn't miss out on any kisses that may be going! Whilst closing up on Friday evening, we spotted her sitting in the kennel starting to rag one of her blankets, when we called to her to stop she turned her head, both ears cocked up, and gave us such a cheeky look as if to say "Me, but I'm not doing anything!" Bless her, she's a real cutie. xx

I wonder if it is his age that is stopping people looking at this gorgeous boy. I know, 7 and a half isn't old, but next to dogs of 3 and 4 it may be a factor. I love this boy and have to admit to spending quite a bit of cuddle time with him and Amy in the kitchen run on Friday ( I was working too - honest!!). He is quiet, affectionate, knows when the peanut butter sandwiches are being prepared! and has definately helped the lovely Amy settle in and begin to overcome her shyness. He would love a nice quiet sofa to call his own, and I hope it comes his way soon. xxxx

Nice to meet you properly today Biscuit. You've got a lovely face but seemed a little bit lost today as if you're missing being in a home. I hope you get one soon as you seemed to be no trouble on your walk with Andy. All the best. Cuddle for you today x
