Kind of good news as blood tests don't show meningitis but vet is still concerned with the symptoms she's been showing as they are the same as they where when she had meningitis last time. So we will return to see him on Saturday morning, unless she gets worse and then she'll be seen as an emergency. I'm still worried to say the least but until we know for sure what's what the vet won't treat her. Thanks to TJ & alan&pam for their kind messages. Xx

Glad he is home. Maybe side affects of drugs he has been given making him feel rough. At least he has his furry brother to snuggly with. Xxx

It's good to see Ash been released back home. Having you around to love him will be a help I'm sure and should give him some stability too. I imagine he's probably still feeling a bit out of sorts after the past few days with operations and everything but I'm sure being home with you all and having his brother around again will help. Sending you all best wishes for Ash's continued recovery and a cuddle from all of us x

He is home, but in such a bad way, the burns are very bad & we have the vet coming over tomorrow to redress his legs. He has lost all the weight he's put on & is refusing food so far. We have been given many tablets & creams for him, so will just continue to care for him. He is glad to be with us again though x

Had to take my Ruby to the vets this morning. Blood tests been taken as vet thinks she might be starting with meningitis again. The first time she had it was 2& half years ago. At that point she was very ill and we did'nt think she would survive. This time if it is meningitis then hopefully it's been caught earlier. Blood test results will be back tonight. Feeling sick to the pit of my stomach whatever it is! 🙁

A little Isla update for you, we are slowly weaning her off her crate, its still in the lounge but we no longer have to close the door at night she now choses if she is going to sleep in there, at the bottom of the stairs or on the landing depending on what mood she's in. She still relies on it for reassurance when we leave her in the daytime but again we are practising leaving it open when we leave her for a short time and she is coping well. I've just re read all off her comments and cant believe how far she has come. She really enjoyed the beginners obedience training course too and passed with flying colours. So proud of her. X

My comment disappeared!! The vets can make sure Ash gets some food inside him too which can only help his initial recovery. I don't blame your for going to see him. I would have done too. Kylie sends her big bro a big sloppy lick and a nuzzle and we send him (and you) a cuddle. Small steps will hopefully lead to a good recovery. He's a trooper - obviously knows he has a nice home and family to go back to. All the best x
