Belle saw the vet who was worried about her progress a week ago. Today she was really pleased with her improvement. I've been giving her coconut oil to help healing and it might be a coincidence but her wound is almost half the size! She's now in a much smaller dressing so is starting to weight bear. We're so happy that she's improving 🙂

Poor, poor Ash, his one of three (the bigger one) of his adenomas (that's what the vet thinks they are) under his tail is continuing to bleed a lot & has done for a while now, so he is at the vet on Monday. Then also a date will be arranged for the biopsy on his neck to see if there is a growth there that could be stopping him putting on weight. His back legs are still so week too & I had to hold him up today so he could go for a poo - this is obs also not good for the adenomas, nor is his cleaning. We are going through duvets like nobodies business! Does anyone have any experience or any advice with any of this? Thank you xxx

Me and Dolly had lots of pressies and treats on christmas morning, mom said we were being very good girls and we had over turkey dinner and we ate it all yum yum. I have been very brave and have started to go for walks without hiding first, I like going to the park now. On Boxing day we all went to visit moms sister, auntie lyn, I likes her she gives me lots of cuddles and kisses but I was cheeky and stole a bread roll off the table, whoops I got carried away seeing all the food. Mom said I was very cheeky but she gave me some sausages later on.(big hounded grin) Mom and Dad said it was lovely having me in their home and they is so happy I came to live here. I is happy too. xx

So this Christmas we have discovered that Rhia totally and utterly adores sausage rolls. Wolfed loads of them and still kept coming back for more. Love this nutty girl, she is the best!!! I know I shouldn't have favourites but .........

Can't put into words how devastated I am today after hearing that Dingo's best friend Zak (who belonged to Heather) passed away this morning. He has a had a special place in my heart after coming to do our home visit. Run free precious boy. We love love you and Dingo will miss you so much. Xxxxx

Beautiful Lass came to stay with us yesterday for a few day. She is adorable; so very shy, sweet and gentle, and naturally very wary of the outside world. Oscar the nervous cat keeps popping his head round the living room door to have a closer look at her, which is a good sign for him, but he's in and out of his flap like a yo yo! We cat tested Lass at the kennels yesterday and she was brilliant. She slept through and has been clean overnight and eaten her breakfast. As I write she is sitting happily on her bed in the living room; she takes a little coaxing from it. As Harry Racer has said I feel sure that with plenty of love, time and patience she will come out of her shell and be a wonderful companion. Thank you Lass for being such a lovely house guest, plus I get to give you as many real cuddles as I like. xxx

Tommo spent the day in the kitchen with me yesterday - I adore him! He is a totally different personality to the dog that is in a kennel. He listens if you say 'no' (ie feet on the counter), played happily with the green feeder and then curled up in a moses basket!!! He LOVES cuddles and fuss and happily shared the kitchen in the afternoon with Louis (Collie Cross) and Charlie (Cross breed pretend greyhound!) and Joe (my grey). I will add some photos later....... I might bring him home tonight with me for a change of scenery if he doesn't get picked today...... xxxx
