Fabulous news, if you need more Neem Bark please let me know ... I've seen it heal some nasty bleeding and sore gums and even if it wasn't the Neem Bark it won't harm and might help as it's anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal and doesn't taste of anything so shouldn't put him off food. Good luck,he's lovely 🙂

I totally agree Mrs Muddypaws!! We had our Lucy at just over 2 and a half years and Ben seven weeks later at just about 3 and a half years old and have had them for just over 4 and a half years now. The older they get, the more I have an affection for the older dogs. The girl we fostered last year was almost 9 and now of course, we have Kylie who is early 9 and a half. All are beautiful, loving dogs and have plenty of energy and character. I definitely would also encourage others to give the older houndies a chance.

I think the right people just came forward to foster these beautiful dogs in the first place... we obviously responded with our hearts, tried to engage our heads but then the dogs looked at us and all else went out the window. Personally I would have hated to think of Kylie going through all that stress again when she's happy where she is. We've seen a case near to us recently that would have appeared to be fine to the rescue the dog went from but we saw a serious case of taking on too much and eventually the dog was returned to the rescue (thankfully!). IF that had happened to Kylie, we may have had another foster by the time we'd have known she needed us again - much better just to take away the risk. Kylie's photo is now in a frame on our fireplace along with one of Lucy and just across from others of Ben and Lucy on holidays with us earlier this year. She is part of the family and we're very happy that's the case. It is lovely having three again! Looks like we'll be looking at new places to take 3 dogs on holibobs next time and getting a rooftop box for the car to get all their food, toys, bowls, coats, blankets and whatever else in!! It really IS a dog's life isn't it?!!

Good news indeed !!! Lets hope that those nasty adenomas settle down a bit now. You must be so relieved that he wont be having a GA. He is far too precious to risk losing him now. You have both done a fantastic job caring for him...and protecting him !!! We know how difficult it is looking after a very poorly dog...it's 24/7...and you are constantly watching and worrying. We have so much respect and admiration for you both for taking him on, and doing such a superb job. We know that you will keep him safe, and hopefully, his twilight years will be filled with love and happiness. He really deserves it. Much love to you all.XXXX. Paul & Terry.
