Charlie and Daisy have gone to a wonderful home in Spain to live with Jane and Stuart who used to be on the committee and very active members of Perry Barr Retired Greyhound Trust. They emigrated to Spain a few years ago and have a home near a golf course where Stuart is a golf pro. Nothing will be to much trouble for this pair they will have the best of everything. Please don't worry. Pam

Hi Melodysmum - Charlie and Daisy were chosen by close friends of mine who used to live in the UK. Their previous greys who are sadly at Rainbow Bridge now were from Daybreaks and they wanted to adopt again from us. They are regular visitors to the UK so came up to the kennels several times before choosing their fabulous new 4 legged family x

I had the privelage of taking Charlie for his last walkies from Daybreaks and what a perfect gentleman he is. aI also had a good nose around his luxury transport for his journey to Spain and I'm sure he and Daisy are going to have a nice restful trip. I'm sure its going to be much warmer for them both at their new home and I wish them both many happy times in their new lives. Adios amigos!! XXX

Louis
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well I cannot disagree with muddypaws' comment (as upsetting as it may be for me to agree with him - for once!) Louis is a wonderful lad and I too have given him a piece of my heart although it is shared between the other greys and the ones we have already lost to Rainbow Bridge. A lot of patience and understanding is needed when rehoming any animal but they give so much love and affection that it is well worth it in the end - but always remember 'A dog is not just for Christmas'. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of the hard working kennel staff and greys at Daybreaks and to all of the rehomed greys and their families. Also, a special get well soon to the lovely Belle, rest that leg little girl. XXX
