Jed
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well Jed's cheeky side is definitely starting to show through, I have had workman in the house this morning and Jed managed to take a screwdriver and box of disposable gloves off to his bed without anyone noticing until they needed them!

Kylie
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Just giving Kylie a virtual cuddle to go with the many real ones - just because I can. We almost had our first 4 legs up roach an hour ago but I think Kylie beached herself on the cushions and couldn't quite make it! Andy also attempted a gentle tooth brushing this morning but she wasn't sure about that...we'll keep trying to introduce it gently. She's getting tooth cleaner in her water a couple of times a day anyway. We're off for a dogwalk soon. Hopefully no flippin fireworks - had to give up on evening walk last night as all 3 started quivering when some were let off at around 5pm. All was fine as soon as they got back home.

Mr Muddypaws...can I just say that I know what you mean... Kylie also has tried to be my hobby horse a couple of times - amusing for me, being female. Andy's too tall for her to have much impact if she does it to him. Must be a family trait between Kylie and Louis! 🙂

You do know if enough people nag , encourage, persuade, convince, bully, do I really need to go on, I've worn myself out with this, I'm shattered. Don't think i could go through the Holly suspence again, although that one was a given. Double, double dare you. X

Kylie
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Kylie has been with us since 2 Nov. She has had a vet check up today and all went well. She has been living with us and our 2 greyhounds, Ben (aged 8) and Lucy (aged 7). She was clearly and understandably stressed when she first came to us but has settled well with our two. Kylie is clearly a dog that likes company - both human and dog. She loves fuss but is learning that Ben and Lucy have to have some time with their mom and dad too and will lie down and wait her turn. The fact that she is so nice natured and that there were no major issues highlighted today at her vet check, we believe are a testament to her former owner who clearly did love her. We have had some issues trying to get her to take to dog food (how dare us!) but we are gradually getting there - she tried to pinch some kibble out of Ben's bowl lunchtime so I put her dish in the holder next to his and she started to eat her food without any wet food topping. Earlier today she also selected a couple of toys and took them up on the sofa for a good squeaking. This is also progress. She does still look a little wistful at times but she's so much happier than she was and she's been doing her walks happily (as long as there's no fireworks). All in all, she's doing really well, especially given the major changes that have gone on in her life. She really is a lovely little dog.

My Sarah did that to the receptionist at the vets. She didn't seem to mind (the receptionist that is), see seemed to quite like it. Won't be able to show my face around there for a while. x

Looking for a lovely sprightly girl, who is young at heart, loves a cuddle, then Emmy is for you. Age is not an issue, though she has been with me for such a short time she has fitted in well with my two. It just goes to show how adaptable our greys can be!

Louis
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Just thought l would share this with you all...lt might brighten up what is a wet and cold Wednesday morning. Louis thinks this is hilarious...l'm afraid that l don't. He has a "quirk". He loves to creep up behind us, and push his head between our legs, and try to lift us off the ground. He prefers the sneaky rear attack...but failing that...he is quite happy to go for the full frontal assault !!! This is not so bad for Mrs Muddypaws....actually she seems to have a big smile on her face the last few days !!! But for me....not so good. My voice seems to have changed from a tenor... to a falsetto, and l'm convinced that l'm starting to walk like John Wayne. This is obviously much more painful for me if he is wearing his muzzle !!!!!!!! l am thinking of going out today to try and buy a wicket keepers box !!! Come on lads.....show a bit of sympathy....and share my pain. Has anyone else experienced this......or is it just me !!!! He is a lovely lad.....but l sound like l am sniffing helium. Please, please help me !!! Yours Painfully....Muddypaaaaaaaaws !!!
