Milo has explored the house, had a good sniff round the garden and is now fast asleep on the rug. He is a lovely handsome chap and travelled really well in the car home. He was understandably a bit nervous at first coming into the house but seems to be settling in nicely. Big cuddle for you Milo X

Saw this boy this morning at kennels he is so very very handsome. He has been very well cared for has a beautiful coat.He had a little stroll with Milly my lurcher and was impeccable on the lead and they both enjoyed themselves in the sun.He is understandably somewhat bewildered to be back at kennels but seems very affectionate is a leaner and loved his ears being stroked by the lovey Cathy who has taken him out on foster.Milo will make a fab pet he is fully house strained looks very regal.I am sure he will be re-homed in no time.

Saffy (Sophie)
I’m Homed
Phew that's a relief! Sophie has an eye condition called Nodular episcleritis which is not as serious as the two other options which could have led to her eye being removed or going blind. Treatable with steroids, we're going to try drops 6 times a day rather than the injection into the eye which makes me feel quite yukky just thinking about it! Will hopefully see an improvement soon. Apart from that she's happy and healthy and will be looking for a forever home soon, preferably without a lively young dog like Leo as he does wind her up at times!

We had the privilege of taking lovely (Rhea) Maria to the Swan Centre for the awareness yesterday. She is such a sweet, gentle and very pretty girl, and so well behaved. Wonderful news that she has found a loving foster home with the company of other greys. Fingers crossed for all. xxx

Sometimes these things are just meant to be. Do you think it's time a special FFP badge was created to wear? Mand x

Paddy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Paddy came along with Belle and Maria to help with the Awareness at the Swan Centre yesterday and was just brilliant. He travelled well, was relaxed, and took everything in his stride. He is so endearing - everyone loves him and he happily accepted all the fuss and attention he received. He was calm around non-greys; someone holding a small puppy in their hands came to say hello and Paddy was completely unfazed - a quick sniff (muzzled for the introduction of course) and then disinterest. Such a good boy and no trouble at all. Paddy you are adorable; it must be your turn soon for a loving home. Keeping our fingers crossed. xxx

Sadly Milo has been returned after 18 months in a home as he is struggling to adapt to a new baby in the house. His owners are understandably distraught.

Belle
I’m Homed
Beautiful Belle joined us yesterday at the Swan Centre to help with the awareness, and proved to be a real star. A little nervous at first, she blossomed during the day and was happily 'meeting and greeting' the public within a very short time; her tail didn't stop wagging. This little girl is adorable - friendly and affectionate, not only with humans but with her greyhound friends too. She certainly took a shine to Paddy and made sure she was near to him for most of the day. Whoever homes this gorgeous girl will have a gentle, loving companion, and after having pups as well as racing she is surely ready for a loving home of her own. Belle, you are a pleasure to be with. xxx

No, no, no, this wasn't supposed to happen....Rhea (Maria) has only spent one night with us but she is already more settled than we dared to hope. She gets on well with our other 3 and no problems with the cat at all. She truly is a lovely dog and I fear we will soon be joining the FFP club!!

'MY' gorgeous Maria went off to foster yesterday...... I am SOOOOOOO happy to see her go - she is one very special little girl..... She is 100% cat friendly, wandering around unmuzzled with the cats and wonderful temperament. I am so grateful to her foster family for taking her on - it will stop me bringing her home and pretending she is one of the Boswell crew! xxxxx
