Honey
I’m Homed
Still holding out a tiny tiny hope we might get a chance to get to know Honey better. It's always worth remembering that by giving a DayBreaks hound a home , you're freeing up a space for another to be 'saved'. Apparently there are lots waiting for a space in Ruth's 'halfway house for hounds'.

Gem
I’m Homed
It is great sadness that Gem is coming back into the kennels on Friday. She is coming in with Mary too. This is a very sad situation and my thoughts and prayers are with their owners who do not wish to return them but due to circumstances they need to be. We really hope both girls can go straight to a foster home and if you think you can offer this, please please give me or Kate a call at the kennels ASAP. Ruth 0121 782 7702

Prince
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Brian and I went with Prince to Brueton Park yesterday, to help with the ongoing Tony Knight training given by Joyce. Before leaving the kennels we had some training from Ruth on 'stop, starting.' This proved invaluable. Prince was AMAZING! His training with Joyce is obviously working well. To begin with he jumped straight into the car and lay down quietly for the journey. On arrival at the park he was naturally excited by all the sights and sounds, but was soon walking beautifully by my side, responding to his name and the stop, start training. It was an absolute pleasure to see how quickly this gorgeous, intelligent boy understood what was wanted of him. He was such a pleasure to be with. Before we left the park, the three of us sat in the open boot for a while, calmly watching the world go by - a perfect afternoon. As Lady Victoria has said Prince is very happy in the kitchen run. He is now sharing the space with Duchess and Honey with no problems whatsoever. I believe that whoever homes this lovely boy will reaps the rewards of a loving, loyal companion. xx

Buzz
I’m Homed
Met Buzz today and we got covered with lots of kisses and a very waggy tail. He also had lots of fun in one of the outside pens chasing me around and he was fine with Scott, our 9yr old. He is one fun loving greyhound and he stole our hearts today. Good luck in finding your forever home Buzz.
