Yep, my is hooked and my life will never bee the same again. I also know what you mean by addictive, I cant leave the ad alone and continuously looking at Greyhound sites. I'm becoming a a Greyhound stalker overnight which is a little worrying. Defo want two pooches though as they are great company for each other and twoare as easy as one apart from the food and insurance!

Took Mac and Milo for their walks this morning and both were proper gents and behaved impeccably on their leads. Mac has the lovliest sticky up ears whilst he's out - obviously alert and enjoying his walkies!!! xxx

We have just taken a walk down cat alley (where all the cats seem to be) and he saw one walking, very interested but no barks or growls just the usual greyhound alert stand and with encouragement he carried on the walk. When coming into the close he saw 3 more cats and he looked but again with encouragement he carried on walking to our drive. He loves to play with toys and he brings them to ripple when she is in her bed as if to say its your turn now, he also lets you take them from his mouth with no fuss and waits for you to throw them . When he has eaten most of his tea we tell him he is a good boy which he likes as his tail starts to wag. Mmm I was going to hoover but now I have two fast asleep dogs , one in a bed and one as a rug so its going to be a cup of tea instead.

badgerdaddy u is hooked and i can see why- he is a real great lad and so much more fun than an olive tree lol- but can i just tell u they are addictive these greys that,s how i ended up with 4 and mine all have matching coats, collars leads and bowls

Hi Badgerdaddy. Banger is one helluva smashing lad !!!!!! l am glad to hear that you are experienced with big strong dogs....because this boy is one amazing character !!!! l think he will certainly keep you on your toes !!! He is into everything.... but is going to be so much fun !!! He reminds me so much of Arthur (lce). A big softie with a huge personality. You have bagged yourselves a cracking lad !!!!!! XXX

Oh Annie....what can i say!!! I was at kennels today, working in your kennel, with you and Banger, and i was really surprised to just read you have been reserved !!!! As Ruth knows...we have been so torn over you for several weeks now...trying to work out if we could fit you in with our five !!! Who ever has reserved you has got themselves one gorgeous little girl !!! You really are the perfect little package !!! lf for any reason, it does'nt work out ( and i really, really hope it does...then you have a home at our gaff !!! ) l love you to bits and i really hope everything works out brill for you. Please take care of our little girl !!!XXX

I'm afraid not NMD07. I needed to get Banger settled first and was just hoping Annie's was still going to be available. Having met and cuddled Annie I now know that was a tall order. She is going to be so loved which is all that matters. I will be keeping my eye on all the rest of the intake over the next few weeks for a girlfriend for Banger.

Met Tessie today at daybreaks and tried to walk her but she was to scared to go. Luckily while we were there,she went out to a foster home. So hope she learns there is nothing to be scared about and settles down. She is a lovely little girl, so tiny and does like a cuddle. Sending her my cuddle today. Xx

Rumblesmom, you have no idea! I only had to look him in the eye and I was hooked. We have always had Rhodesian Ridgebacks in past years and lost our last girlie just over 12 months ago and the statement of the day was " no more dogs it's to heart breaking" and what do we go and do. We visited Melbick for an olive tree and came out with a Greyhound!!! It just shows how much love we still have for dogs and how much we were both in denial. We can't wait to get him home and try on all his new clothes. He even has his name on his coats, how cute is that?
