    I’m Homed

Good morning all. Thought I would tell you how my first 24 hours have been with mommy and daddy Badger. I was put into a very nice car which made me feel quite safe but felt that they should have unrolled the new blanket they had bought for me which was in the back. But no worry, I just helped them understand what it was for and removed the wrapping for them. I think they understand now. When we got to my new home I did feel quite stressed as everything was very different so spent a lot of time running in and out of the garden and checking out the lovely new mattress they have given me. They have also got me a huge bed in the corner of there dinning room but not keen as I like to see where they are just to make sure they are behaving and not getting into trouble. You will never guess what........ I even get a treat when I go outside and have a wee!! How cool is that? I am making sure that I go outside every time now just to make sure I get that tasty little treat. I met quite a number of my extended Familly last night and they were all very kind to me and gave me so much fuss and cuddles. My only dislike is these ruddy things they keep walking up. They went up them and left me downstairs last night which was a bit silly of them, so made sure they could hear me and that I was not a happy puppy being left downstairs. Dad put a lead on me and helped me up which was a nightmare but my mattress was waiting for me and slept with them all night. Now, the problem with these things they call stairs is that once you are up, you have to come down again! Well I can tell you that I did not like that. Oooooooh no! The old legs were all over the place and not sure if I am going to get the handle of them at all. Anyway, I have to finish my sleep and going to curl up on this hear mattress thing again and see what today brings. However, I have to say that I may have landed on my paws and wits the same for all my buddies back at the kennels. Cheerio for a bit. Xxxx

When I arrived back at the kennels today, after the Stratford Roadshow, I decided to go and say 'hello' to sweet Annie and her lovely sister Blaze. What a greeting! Between the two of them I had my face, ears, hands, legs and feet washed sparkling clean with kisses. Adorable! xxxxx

  • Jenna (Jenny)

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

The perfectly named 'Pretty Jenna' came with her handsome kennel mate, Satin,to the Stratford Roadshow today. This girl is gorgeous - pretty, friendly, curious and so loving. She is also very good and attentive on the lead. She definitely loves the company of her greyhound friends and although she was naturally curious of other breeds she had never seen before, by the end of the day she was hardly giving them a second look - good girl. She and Satin drew much attention from the public and she certainly promoted herself with all the cuddles she gave. On the way home she relaxed in the back of the car and was so chilled on arrival at the kennels, we had to wait a good few minutes until she decided to jump out. Jenny, you are truly scrumptious. xxxxx

    I’m Homed

Satin accompanied us on the Stratford Roadshow today and proved what a wonderful companion he is. He jumped straight into the back of the car and travelled well on the journey there and back. Given that this was his first day out at an awareness event, his behaviour was perfect. On this beautiful sunny day, Stratford was teeming with people, but Satin wasn't the slightest bit bothered by the activity. He 'leaned' calmly by Brian's side the whole time, only coming forward to receive cuddles and attention from the public. He and his kennel mate, pretty Jenny, enjoyed plenty of attention and interest and 'did us and Daybreaks proud'. At the end of the day Brian was very reluctant to bring him back to the kennels. Calm, gentle, loving and handsome. Satin - you have it all. xxxxx

Oh Annie...Annie...Annie !!! How disappointing. Maybe you will be coming to live at Muddypaw Mansions...l did promise after all. The only thing is...it would be fantastic if you and sister Blaze could be rehomed together...and we cant take both of you. So , we will give you a little bit longer to see what happens. Anyone who is thinking of adopting a grey...please take a look at these two little sisters...they are so adorable. Spend 5 minutes with them and your heart will belong to them !!! They love each other so much , it would be a shame to split them up.. Will keep my fingers firmly crossed...otherwise a very difficult decision may be on the horizon !!! Luv to you both...you are sooooo gorgeous.XXXXXXXXX
