We have just arrived home from Charlies first holiday as part of our family. I must admit to a feeling of trepidation as to how he would settle in yet another strange place, I needn't have worried, he has taken to this holiday lark like, well like a Greyhound on tour. He has tried playing on the beach, paddling in the sea, wading in streams, trying dog ice cream (yes really, caramalised bacon! actually it tasted disgusting but he tried some!) He sat outside cafes and even inside cafes (when invited). He met & played with dogs of all shapes and sizes, politely. At one point he was even walking along the coastal path with a Sheltie on one side and a Cavalier on the other without any problems at all. In short he was a pleasure to have around, he was able to have a run around the enclosed garden with Misty Moo. He took the whole experience completely in his stride and met so many people calmly and graciously. Thankyou so very much for entrusting my perfect boy to my care, love him to bits!

Ooooops!!! Meez dunno wot appen der...meez pwesst da big buckon on da foney fing....an puff....sum of meez wordys wuz gone...meez finks meez wubeed em out!!! Meez duz not no wye meez torkin like dis...fink meez eaken tu meni Haribbo sweetiz!!! Fantastic news.... my beautiful Maggie has turned a corner and is on the road to recovery..... an ear infection was the culprit sending her off her feet, lethargic and lopsided for the last 5 days. Happy happy happy beyond belief!

Due to the monsoon conditions, we couldn't get out on a walk this afternoon, so the dogs spent some time out in the runs having a play. Well - my gorgeous boy was in his element, he had company, toys to play with and lots of fusses and cuddles - and that was on top of the lovely groom Uncle Norman gave him this morning! Sometimes I don't think this boy shows himself at his best in the kennels - he has been here so long now he really needs a home to call his own. I'm hoping that as this weekend is a special one for the kennels, it will be the same for my special big fella.xxxx

Milo is such a handsome boy. Still a little wary of things, he is very friendly and enjoyed a great game with a tennis ball this afternoon. Sadly, he isn't cat friendly.
