Still working on him 🙂 we are away again at a wedding this weekend so we didn't want to mess her about this week but I think I could make good progress with her given a bit more time ? He did say I could pick her up to foster again but I don't want to confuse her even more either?! So tricky. 🙁 also he did admit after she was rehomed last time that it was a bit strange for him having Isla as she looks so much like our milly that we lost in Feb 🙁 Will keep trying over the weekend 😉 xxx

Poor Dolly, that must have really hurt! I am sure Ruth would take a look at her leg but Catalina our vet should be at the kennels this Saturday. If you would like her to see Dolly please give the kennels a call. However if it gets any worse or you are worried about it, maybe best to see your own vet. Xxx

So sorry for you all it was not to be for Al this time, but thanks so much for giving him a chance. How nice he won Best Rescue at the charity event! I am sure the perfect home will soon be his...after such positive comments from you and also his new foster Mom. Big hugs to gorgeous Cody and of course little Millie! Kate Xxx

Hi there, just wanted to explain what happened on the trial we had with the beautiful AL.On bringing Al home he behaved fantastically considering he didn't know us and had recently had stitches. He had to contend with two children, two rabbits and two dogs.I cannot stress enough how well he coped with all of these, even going for his daily walk in the park was an absolute pleasure. He even went out to a charity event and won best rescue as he was so well behaved and believe me there was some tough competition. The only problem we encountered and the reason for Al's return is my very over zealous yorkie terrier. She is also a rescue and has had no training at all which resulted in not leaving Al alone at all and constantly wanting to play. Her rude manners left Al very stressed and constantly trying to find an exit.We packed our yorkies bags and moved her out for two days and suddenly Al came alive showing what a beautiful nature he has.I never thought another greyhound would steal my heart like my cody but Al certainly did.We all agreed that although he was stressed with my yorkie another calmer small dog would be no problem and he loves other dogs and children. If you are looking to take on a greyhound, Al would be an excellent choice. We were not right for Al not the other way round.I cried all the way home today after taking him back so it would be wonderful to hear from his new mom and dad once he is hopefully snapped up.Thankyou to the lady who fostered him today and all the team at Daybreaks.Big kisses AL miss you already.xxxxx.

Always a good idea to get it checked no matter how small. Constant licking prevents healing anything you can do to deter them licking is the best solution, the kennels will know what to do.

Gordon came home with me on trial yesterday afternoon. So far things have gone much better than I could have hoped. Gordon was quite anxious traveling here in the car, but today is much more relaxed. He has settled into the house and garden without any problems. We are enjoying getting to know the local walks along the river, and I'm hoping to take him to training on Saturday. It's early days yet, but I'm feeling really positive that Gordon can find his permanent home here. Ted.

Just some advice please, Dolly banged her knee on her hind leg on the patio door frame whilst running in from the garden, after a few screams she seemed ok, nothing broken or dislocated as she's running on it fine, but it now looks sore where there was a little break in the skin, she licks it, sons dog keeps licking it, I dont want it to get infected, should I pop into the kennels and get an opinion?
