I had the pleasure of welcoming this gorgeous girl to the kennels today. She is so sweet and after a lovely warm bath settled into her kennel, couldn't resist going in for a cuddle which she loved.

He sits on top of it! I am also trying to teach him to roo on command, I've managed to teach him to kiss on command, but this is proving to be a lot harder! He also likes dancing to Madonna with me & gets so happy & waggy tailed when people are laughing around him!!

Lula Belle

It is with great sadness that we have heard that Lula Belle's owner Elizabeth passed away very suddenly. Therefore It is with the regret of the family that Joy will have to come back to Daybreaks to be rehomed. She has been in a home since March 2010 and I feel will stress, having lost her mum, her lurcher brother and the life she has enjoyed. I am desperate to find this little girl a new home as soon as possible and I appeal to anyone thinking of adopting to spare a thought for Joy. She was a long stayer previously.... Having spoken to Elizabeth's Father - I know how just heartbreaking this is going to be to bring her back to the kennels on Friday and our thoughts are with them as they are going through a very very tough time. x

Ah! All is revealed Kate! Ted will make a brilliant Dad & I will get to meet Gordon when he brings him over for his lesson (Ted's lesson that is, not Gordon's!!) Charlie Mouse is brilliant & still stealing like mad, he laughs when he does it too! Yesterday he took to his bed, Sam's trousers, a sock, his raincoat, my jacket, a tea towl, an umbrella, a comb, various items of shopping, then the carrier bags! Then he wonders why the damn thing is so uncomfortable!! He thinks it's hilarious when we chase each other all over the house & jump across the settees too!

What a difference 2 weeks has made to our Angel. Don't get me wrong, she can still be nervy and spook easily but this little bundle of energy is definitely starting to come out of her shell. She is totally mad, has so far destroyed 3 chew toys and can make our other nutter butter, Tilly, look staid and reserved!! She will normally follow wherever Tilly goes but spent last night sleeping upstairs on her own and now is sleeping at my feet in the lounge whilst Tilly is on her bed. All in all, she is a bouncy, waggy, nippy, lovely dog. Happy Days xx
