Charlie saw his first cat today, he looked did a kind of "strictly come dancing "hop from foot to foot, checked to see what Misty did and then just carried on walking! Dog mom was so proud! He really does walk so well on the lead I have to keep checking he's still there.

I keep checking back , like every 20 mins it seems , I can't wait for this loveable hunk to get a home , I just still have that image in my head of when he came over to me in the Kitchen and licked my face , Gorgeous boy , Maybe one day when I get a bit more confidence in owning and caring for a greyhound , Ill be able to take a loveable lad like Liam , Skye Terriers are known as the Heavenly breed and having owned 2 I can vouch for that , but there is contest as I think Greyhounds deserve that title too

It's been a while since I have been on here. Lots going on at the moment!! Hope you and your greys are OK and hugs to all the kennel dogs. I wonder if there is anybody that I could bear in mind (if and when I go on holiday without the 'furkids') who would come and walk my two girls. My parents are more than happy to 'put them up' at theirs, however, my two can be very stong on the lead when they see other breeds and especially cats. They just need a firm hand and voice when out on a walk sometimes! I think it needs someone with experience of walking greyhounds that would fit the bill rather than Mum (who can't walk that far and quick anyway) and Dad. I live about a half hour drive from Daybreaks. Not far from J3 of M5. I would cover your fuel and pay for your time. Thanks xx

Carla was absoulutely lovely when Carrie came back from the vets today , she was so happy to see us and we weren't gone that long , She's not a great eater but she seems to like the Puppy food more and has eaten a lot more today , Im paranoid now but like I mentioned on Carries page its a weekly visit to the free weight clinic at my local vets for the next few weeks for both of them.

Sadly Roxy is back at the kennels today. Unfortunately she was very interested in the family's Chihuahua, Angel . Her owners have very reluctantly decided it is was best to bring her back. They have recently homed Ava and Cara who have been absolutely brilliant with Angel and feel it would be unwise to add another at the moment. They would like to say she is very loveable, got on great with the other Greyhounds. Good on the lead and is doing well with house training. They will miss her very much. Xxx

Well ,Carrie is fine and at 17kg this morning , they also run a free weight clinic at my local vets ,so both Carla and Carrie are going next week. We weren't gone that long but Carla was so happy to see us when we got back .

Not long now Awesome Arthur! I hope your new bed has been delivered for Michelle to bring with you. Could be interesting when you arrive if Fire is still on three legs but we are hoping he will be much improved by the time you arrive. Got loads of chicken to cook up for you for your first meal after your journey. Lots of cuddles are waiting for you.

So , I was literally in the middle of sending an email to Kate and Carla barked her first bark , I think she was saying Hello and thanks to Kate x , Carla and Carrie are really easy to walk together much easier than Carrie and Teddy to be honest, one hand both leads and very friendly with people that we meet , they just look so lovely together , Im really so glad I got her ,and although Carla is a couple of years older than Carrie, and a lot calmer , even though Carrie seems to have calmed down in the past couple of days a lot she really still is as mad as they come , Im actually wishing the next 7 weeks away so I can get the time to bring them both back to say hello and hopefully show you what I know I can do , Ive given up on the idea of a tidy house now , Quilts everywhere and realised today when I went to feed the 4 chickens I have that I am surrounded by girls , 6 in total , Carla hasn't met the chickens yet but Im saving that experience for another day , Im think the support you've all given has been amazing , thanks , and Im probably going to post daily for the time being
