Hi Jeff, I know it must have been a very difficult day for you today but so pleased you have been brave enough to post a comment about Carrie. None of us are perfect....we all get things wrong. Hopefully with a change of quantity and quality of food you give Carrie she should improve in a short time and put weight on. Great to hear you are going to get her checked out at the vets just to make sure all is ok. It was obvious she adores you and I am sure Carla will too. You are always welcome at the kennels, we would love to see you all. Kate Xxx

Carla is lovely ,she is such a perfect companion for Carrie and I had never considered having two girls Im still feeling pretty gutted about Carrie being so skinny and me not even realising and Carlas name Means strong and manly , that'll do , one of them needs to be a man about the house , I can't wait to hear her bark , Like I said not the day I expected but so glad I came , maybe I should just come back a bit more often just to say hello , definitely bringing both of them back in 7 weeks when Im on holiday

I wasn't going to post as Ive felt so bad after today after finding Carrie to be so underweight , I didn't think I was worthy of Carla but Carrie is so settled with Carla and Carla with Carrie and so happy and settled with a really full tummy, she really can't eat anymore today Im sure ,I really can't believe Ive been under feeding her that much to loose that much weight ,but I just know know I have been , thats the German Shep cross experience , Eve was always a perfect weight but , well I did say before they are all very different aren't they , well its Vets on Monday just to make sure everything is OK , but Im certain Ive simply not given her enough food which explains a lot and amazed by the little amount of poo that Carla did on the Burns food compared to Carrie, so glad we came today , thanks for the support again Ruth and Kate and the Vet lady and blueangle ( you are ace keep in touch with Nora) , Ive shared the good times and now the learning times and like I said I wasn't going to post because to be honest I got myself rather embarrassed but I had just never realised until today how skinny she had got .... its fat time I think , well actually not , but she is definitely going to have a few more very big dinners , I love Carrie to bits ,I think you all know that so maybe the past week and today has been fate...again

Oh no what a shame! Liam will soon calm down, everything is just so exciting after being in kennels so long. I understand though, you have to have both dogs happy otherwise it makes things difficult. Liam you have my cuddle again today xx

Hi Kate, thanks for asking... Rosie is still on antibiotics (3rd course) for her vulva infection and we're back at the vets on 2nd June to check that out and her lump. I've also picked up some more Metacam to alleviate any aches/pains she's having from the lump. She went lame again on her right rear leg during our walk on Wednesday morning, but me thinks it may have been a sting to her bottom as she did her business in a bush full of nettles. How nice for me to try and pick that up afterwards!! Despite her not being fully fit, our beautiful little girl never complains and we love her to bits. Hoping to pop up to Daybreaks on Monday to get her new raincoat & a bag of food. Tash x

Bad luck mate, your head on approach to life is great but perhaps a bit too much for pretty little Carrie! On the plus side though, you got to spend some time in the kitchen with Sara's non-greys and other greyhounds and had a lovely time, being such a good boy with them all and showing yet more plus points. Fingers crossed your own sofa is not long in coming now sweetheart. xxx

Duggie

Was at the kennels today and have reserved Millie. However spent a little time with duggie and have also walked him a couple of times. I think he could be a lovely dog in the right environment. He seems generally quite loving and I think just needs a lot of gentle care and attention. If it wasn't for the fact I mind my grandchildren (quite noisy!) Twice a week I would have considered him but don't think he could have coped with them. Hoping he finds that special loving home very soon. See you Wednesday for walks, duggie. Xx

Sadly Liam didn't turn out to be Carries dream man today! He was a little too bouncy for her and she opted for quiet little Carla instead. Not to worry I am sure Liam's special home is out there. He is such a happy lad with lots of love to give. Xxx
