I had the pleasure of meeting the gorgeous Ada today whilst my 2 were having the care package, which I have to say I thoroughly recommend. She is loveley and just lay quietly I the office with Ruth watching what was going on and had a lovely biscuit. Such a sweetie. Won't be long before some lucky person gets a lovely hound. X oh and I got lovely kisses off silky Al and beautiful Arthur.

Albert waved bye bye to his poorly paw partner and long term kennel mate Charlie this morning. Surely this fabulous boy will be next - such a happy, friendly soul, he is so excited to get his lead on and get out of the kennel, but once out on his walk he is as good as gold, even ignoring the barking Lab at the farm this afternoon. Fingers crossed beautiful. xx

Effy met a little terrier today and was a very good girl with her. Obviously a little intrigued at first, she gave her a good sniff from head to toe, but wasn't overly bothered even when she started moving & walking around and soon lost interest. Well done Effy. x

Silky is a really beautiful little girl, very friendly and happily sharing a kennel with handsome Al. She loves to give you sloppy kisses whilst you are putting her lead on and loves a fuss. xx

Al is just adorable, when I went in to lead him up for his walk he jumped up onto his bed and proceeded to give me lovely licky kisses whilst I was doing his lead up. His kennel mate, the beautiful Silky, did exactly the same so I emerged from the kennel with a lovely clean face!!! Such a happy, cuddly boy. xx

Just realised that I was still logged in when Ruth used the computer, so it is in fact Ruth that is taking this gorgeous girlie home with her, not me! I must just add that she is now fast asleep on a comfy blanket on the office floor, bless her.

This gorgeous girl broke her hock 13 months ago in April 2013. She has had extensive surgery costing thousands of pounds paid for by her racing owners. She has arrived at Daybreaks today but I am going to take her home as she needs to heal fully and we think this will be easier in a home environment. Unfortunately due to her injury she is not allowed to be able to run around (even in a garden) as she could seriously damage herself so I am desperate to find her a quiet home asap. She is at the moment very settled in the office and seems very chilled out. She is adorable and her ears look far too big for her head!

Charlie is home, so far so good! He & Misty are getting on well, they've been for a walk together and both were very good with each other. He was quite fascinated by a stone lion in my neighbours garden, but decided not to chase it! At the moment he is lying in his bed, destroying his squeeky toy!

Don't wish to be too-pre-emptive as fate often takes a turn you don't expect , but has any one got a dog guard for the boot I can borrow ?, Im most likely coming back to Birmingham on either Sunday or Monday so I could drop it back at Daybreaks
