So lovely to walk Albert today minus any rubber gloves flapping about on his paw!! He and his kennel mate Charlie really enjoyed their walk in the sunshine and were walking along beautifully. So great to see them on the road to recovery after their ops. XX

Andy has today been out on the Stratford Walk and what a fabulous lad he was to take out. Completely faultless ! He's great with other breeds, mixes brilliantly with other greys and was a perfect passenger in the car. He had a real love in with recently homed Daybreaks dog Lulu and her 'mom and dad' Richard and Mariaetta. Lets hope that forever home is not that far away.

Lovely to see you again today Liam, I think you have worked out exactly where I hide the treats I bring in and you stand very patiently with a waggy tail and your ears at attention while I get them out of my pocket. He is a fuss pot and will happily lie there and be fussed all day. Such a loving boy and a very handsome face. My cuddle goes to Liam today for being such a good boy and waiting patiently for his very own home. All good things come to those that wait. Big hugs Liam XX

Effy you are adorable, you were so gentle out on your walk today and you were quite happy to walk along side a little girl called Lucy and her mom who had come to look around the kennels. So playful as well as you were chasing a toy in the run later. I am sure you will not be waiting much longer, you are a stunning looking girl with a wonderful gentle nature. XX

Lovely little Carla has touched our hearts, she is such a friendly, affectionate little soul with lots of love to give. Out on her walks she looks up at you and gives a little skip along when you tell her what an adorable little girl she is. She is also a good listener and didn't mind once when I sat with her in the kennel and sang along to the music being played over the speakers - everyone else thinks I am tone deaf!! ( Yes the dogs do listen to classical music!!) So little Carla, do what you do best with your gorgeous face and practice that take me home expression that we did today and your sofa will be along soon.XX

Oh Andy....where do I start?? Met you at the Stratford Walk this moning and you are so beautiful...really really handsome! You were so chilled about it all and excellent with the couple of small dogs that were there too. Did I mention how handsome you are? In beautiful condition too! I don't think you will be getting the Daybreaks TLC for long handsome fella!! xxx

Isla foster family update. She has settled into a routine now, we let her out in the garden about 6, breakfast at 7, happy around the house, leaving her for 2/3 hours with no problems, although if I leave the lounge door open she will stand on the sofa looking out of the window, mid morning walk, lounge around or sunbathing in the garden, throws her squeaky duck around for a bit, evening walk around elmdon park, rest, tea at 6ish, let out in garden before bed, tuck her into bed about half 10/11 with a denta stix, leave the kitchen radio on for her and she stays there quietly until she hears someone get up in the morning. Really pleased with her progress. She still likes to be close to people and follows all of us around the house for reassurance and learning new things. Hubby said she will be back at kennels for viewings soon as we have some hols coming up, will let you know dates asap. Xx
