Ruths right with patience and a bit of work greyhound can learn to except small furriers when Minnie came to live with us we had two rabbits and within a week with a bit of training she was very happy with them and would lie by the cages and let one of them nibble her fur . Good luck smartie I'm sure there is a sofa out there just for you x

I had the sad task of collecting Mikey yesterday morning. I was very disappointed that after 2 months he hadn't been officially adopted. I took him for a lovely big walk with mine at Sutton Park as I knew I'd be leaving him at the kennels with a heavy heart. We'd only been back half hour when he'd been introduced to his new friends and he was visibly happy. When I heard that he was going to stay permanently I was elated. I truly believe in the timing of events in our lives and things happening for a reason. Mikey you were destined to be part of Sarah's family. What a turnaround. Tears of sadness yesterday and tears of joy this morning. Big hugs Mikey. Xxxx

Smartie went out yesterday afternoon but sadly came back this morning. She found the indoor guinea pig and free range chickens in the garden quite interesting! There were also initial grumbles but this is very normal. I did train Shrew to accept my friend's guinea pig and mine have got used to our chickens and ducks....(although Joe and Maggie are still quite intrigued and given half a chance would have a fresh chicken dinner but they are safely away now at the end of the garden). It just takes a bit of time and patience so if you do have small furries - please don't be put off by this comment for Smartie. She is eager to learn, so very loving and wants a home to call her own x

hi folks as ruth said i,m a terrible failure but truth be told not only did this boy melt my heart hubby absolutely loves him too. in my defense it was my 3 dogs that helped to seal the deal they have just accepted him straight in- ruth doesn,t know this yet but we are actually coming up this morning to sign the papers and just to let you all know his new name is mikey oh and ps i got up this morning to walk him at 4.30 am so it must be love

Unfortunately we have had problems with the website this morning and are unable to put Michael as fostered.... so he is reserved instead :-)))))))))))) Fiona..... you are the worst foster mum on the planet!!!! please someone give Torres a chance and put me out of my misery, I am driving myself ( and Roy mad ) he is such an affectionate loving and good looking boy , it would be lovely if he found himself a home this Easter x
