I’m Homed
My poor poor boy.... I had a phone call from Christian at Fivelands earlier to say unfortunately Cadbury had one retained testicle. We all know the major risks of leaving one in situ so they had to dig deep and out it has come 🙁 Sadly the poor fella has the most amazing row of stitches and bruising and I have just got home with him.... he is very quiet (very understandable) and doesn't yet want to lay down as he struggled to toilet earlier. You definitely get my big hug tonight handsome boy...... x

Carla
Over the Rainbow Bridge
How fab that Carla is going to recuperate in the home of Den. He was the first dog we met when we started volunteering at Daybreaks last autumn and he's such a gent. The perfect 'get well' partner and big brother for this lovely little girl.

Rosie
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Despite her last race being summer 2013, that 'winning instinct' doesn't seem to have left our little Rosie Po. Again this morning we had an 'imaginary' race with the unsuspecting person walking just that little bit in front of us on the opposite side of the road! I must, must invest in a pair of running shoes… preferably with spikes and perhaps rename our gorgeous little girl Bolt!!

What lovely news, wish someone would give me a home in France. But Arthur (Ice) you will be well cared for by patsydior, me I think I would need to go around the vineyards for the necessary. Also If I came I'd need to bring my 4 girlies. Love Sylv & The New Icemaid Clan x

Misty
I’m Homed
Misty is settling in. She has found her sofa... and chair (mine)! I have used the advice on introducing to 'cats' as Rolo is much smaller and Misty so lively! They so want to play together but it gets very excitable sometimes.Just taking it steady but all is well. Pleased to see so many others have found homes!!

Daisy (Dee)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
A word of encouragement to the mums and dads of older greys; daisydog is nearly nine and her first agility class really proved you can teach an old dog new tricks! Already halfway down the tunnel and jumping over four jumps she so enjoyed the class. We are very lucky as her classmate is a gorgeous german shepherd rescue girl of 13 months so with just the two of us we had oodles of fun. Daisy is sooo much more confident - its taken around 18 months - and still a way to go but with cheese and love and patience its just so inspiring what these lovely hounds can achieve!!Waving to our chums from the seaside....and so enjoying to read about Ice and especially little Boo. xx
