Hi Fiona, thanks for the special message. Knowing that Mikey is happy, loved and eating well is thanks enough. He is absolutely adorable and Mellow Yellow sums him up perfectly! I'm so happy things turned around so quickly for him. Give him a kiss from me and thank you all for giving him his real forever home. Xxxx

Max accompanied his kennel mate, Judy, to the Stratford walk today and what a lovely boy he is. He and Judy travelled well together in the car, both being calm and quiet. Max was happy to be out and about; enjoying his new surroundings. He was very well behaved and friendly with other greys. This handsome boy has a gentle, sweet nature and will no doubt make a lovely companion. Fingers crossed Max for your forever sofa soon. xxx

    I’m Homed

Judy travelled with Max, her kennel mate, to the Stratford racecourse walk today. She settled well on the journey with no fuss whatsoever. On arrival, she gained much attention with her happy nature and sweet looks. Quite excited at first, with all the new sights, sounds and smells, she was, understandably, forging ahead but soon settled down to a gentle pace at my side. She was interested to meet and was friendly with all the other greys She really is the prettiest girl with a sweet little face and lovely white flecks (like snowflakes) in her fur. As well as her obvious attributes, she is friendly and good natured too. A lovely girl who is sure to be snapped up soon. xxx

Agree with Ruth. We have chickens and cockerels in the garden which to Champ are amazingly interesting. Over the last few weeks we have been training him to leave them alone. He will still chase them given half a chance so we watch him and them very carefully but he is slowly learning that they are not his playthings - it just takes patience and time xx

  • Flo (Judy)

    I’m Homed

I think an update on how my Flo is doing is well over due so here goes....she's been living here for 6 months now and has settled brilliantly. She's still a monkey on times but is great fun and very friendly, she loves everyone she meets. We did go to Julie's training classes for a few months which Flo loved but she's started refusing to get in the car so we've had to stop that. She's been good with other dogs and doesn't seem bothered by cats when we see them, I wouldn't leave her alone with one though! She's been running in the park this morning with her greyhound friend and is still flat out (on her back with her teeth showing obviously), think she's finally learnt that greyhounds like to sleep! Hopefully we'll be at the next sutton park walk, we went to the last one which was great so fingers crossed she'll get in the car.

  • Jack

    I’m Homed

Just got back from our first camping adventure with Jack. He was a little anxious for the first couple of hours about where we both were but soon settled. He made us SO proud! He said hello to all the dogs, kids and adults on the site and loved every second. He never barked and calmly walked past dogs who were barking at him. He also made friends with lots of terriers including a yorky who he felt asleep next to in the pub. He was so impeccably behaved that lots of people were genuinely interested in rehoming a grey with one couple wanting to take him home with them (which Jack would have happily done!) i can honestly say he was probably in the top 3 best behaved dogs on the site and there were lots there. We can't wait to take him again but for now he is exhausted and hasn't moved from his bed since we got in. Well done my gorgeous boy, you have made us so proud and happy to be your parents!!
