After being returned to Daybreaks on Sunday it seemed a good idea to give Tal a morning out in Brueton Park. He certainly enjoyed the experience and was a joy to take out. No problems of any sort when meeting the many other dogs and walkers in the park. He is extremely relaxed walking on the lead ( you could almost say lazy !! )and travels well in the car after jumping in on his own. Hopefully he'll soon find another home to enjoy his retirement in.

I collected Tal yesterday from Telford as his owner said he couldn't keep him as he had unfortunately been snapping at people. I took him home with me and he has been an absolutely wonderful house guest so will stay with me until he finds a home. He is totally house trained and gentle on the lead. He is gorgeous and very loving.

Taking our foster Joey (left) on his last countryside walk at Baddesley Clinton, with Bobby. It's our last week with Joey as we're sadly taking him back to Daybreaks on the 5 Feb. Joey is a lovely big boy. He's really settled into our home and bonded well with Bobby. He's very inquisitive, is into everything, and follows us everywhere, even the toilet (probably just separation anxiety). As we are both still working full time and have two young children, we simply don't have the time to give this young (3 in Feb) and active dog, the care and attention he needs and deserves. But he'll leave a Joey shaped space in our hearts. Joey would suit a home either with or without another dog. He's got a lot of love to give and we hope he finds his forever home soon.

  • Daybreaks Diary!

    I’m Homed

Yet another busy day today... We had several visitors for nail clipping, teeth scraping, food collections and bedding drop offs. Ruth was in for a time before having to go off on an errand. There were several viewings booked, these resulted in Penny going out on foster, Joe being reserved and shy boy Max getting a forever home!! The sand run was as busy and as popular as ever. Many thanks to everyone for their help today, it is really appreciated especially when it was so very busy. It's getting cold again, so all the residents are tucked up with the heating on and their fleecy coats on. So all in all another successful day at Daybreaks. Take care all.
