Daybreaks Diary!

It was a very busy day at Daybreaks today.... Beautiful Jess went off to her new home this morning 🙂 She has a new little Whippet Brother. Xxx At lunch time Bertie came in for a pamper and to be officially adopted. He was so excited to see everyone and super happy! Thanks so much to Shirley and Noah for giving him his pamper. He actually seemed to enjoy having a bath. :)) This afternoon Bee and Timmy went off to their new home together. :)) They looked so smart in their new coats. Xxx Wishing Jess, Bertie, Bee, Timmy and their families lots of great times together. Xxx We also had a gorgeous new arrival. Dee is a very petite, pretty girl. :)) Thanks so much to Richard and Bob for collecting her from the track for us. Xxx The sand run was fully booked and there were nail clippings too. We had a surprise visit from former Daybreaks resident Brodie....who was Willis during his time with us. He looked fabulous and has gained so much confidence living with his lovley family in Scotland. Xxx We also saw Noa (Julie) and Alice who were homed recently. They too look great and are very happy and much loved in their new homes. Xxx I am so grateful to everyone for their help today. Thanks to Angie for all her help this moring and to Richard and Shirley for feeding all the dogs this afternoon. Richard also fed our cats, Socks and Tyke...think they were quite impressed to have someone new to clean out their cat litters...Socks offered her assistance by sitting in the tray! Xxx Many apologies if you visited the kennels today and had to wait to be seen. Thanks so much for your patience. Xxx It's another busy day tomorrow with more viewings. Xxx

Well I is in real trouble this time I have chewed through my hooman mums router cable she says there is no Netflix what ever that is and it’s all my fault! Apparently there is a kennel with my name on at Daybreaks but I don’t believe her I know she loves me really and besides Netflix doesn’t sound that tasty anyway!

Daybreaks Diary!

In contrast to last Friday, it's been a very quiet day today. The boys & girls had 2 lovely walks, and health checks were brought up to date. As it was so quiet, we took the opportunity to do some cleaning and tidying jobs around the kennels. The lovely Polly is as bright as a button today following her spey yesterday. She wasn't too happy about being left behind at walk time though bless her. I met our other 2 newbies, the very sweet Penny and handsome Max. Penny is a very cute girl and has started to settle well already. Max though is quite nervous, and is a bit reluctant to exit his kennel bless him. This morning he didn't want to eat his breakfast and kept backing away from his bowl whenever there was movement outside the run. I moved him up to the kitchen run, away from the activity, and he soon tucked in and cleaned his bowl. This afternoon at dinner time we tried him in the main run again and after an initial nervous moment, he happily tucked in and had another clean bowl. Give him a few days and I'm sure he will start to settle and find his confidence. He gets my cuddle tonight. X A message for the Mikey fan club - Jo spoke to his new Mum this afternoon and she is happy to report that he is doing brilliantly so far. It's started to go a bit chilly now that the sun has gone, so the boys & girls are tucked up for the night. Well, the weekend is upon us again already and the diary is very busy, with tomorrow being fully booked! Let's hope that we see some red or green signs by Monday morning. I shall be raising my usual glass or two later to welcome our newcomers, and wish for forever homes for our boys & girls. Whatever you are up to this weekend, stay safe. Cheers! Angie x

What gorgeous petite little girl Polly is! :)) I took her to be Neutered today. She travelled well in the car and was very good at the vets. Many thanks to Richard for picking her up this afternoon, she was quite a sleepy girl when she got back but she did enjoy her dinner. :)) Xxx
