Only two more get ups Belle and you will be with us. Your two new beds will be coming with you. Your pj's are all ready hanging on the hooks. Got your fob for your collar and a special silver charm too. Really excited about you coming given everything we have been told about you. You are going to be a great addition to our family and we do hope you enjoy your new found freedom. Sparky will teach you not to chase at the chicken tractors!

Boo
I’m Homed
So far so good! Little Holly seems to be settling in well. She absolutely loves her walks and has been throwing the toy zebra and toy frog round like a mad thing this morning! She has done well for toileting outside, just a couple of little wee accidents on the floor, but she is getting to know our routine very quickly. Not a single growl between her and our two other dogs yet! In fact I have to say I am incredibly proud of our two in the way they have welcomed Holly, they wagged their tails and licked her as soon as she came in and have willingly shared all their toys and beds with her. It has made us realise how blessed we are to have such wonderful dogs with the sweetest, kindest natures. Funnily enough Holly has mad no attempt yet to climb on any human bed or sofa, seeming to prefer the dog baskets on the floor and even seems to enjoy lying on the lading where she can look down into the lounge and dining room downstairs and observe everything - it's all open plan so seems to give her a good vantage point! We left the three of them together very briefly this afternoon while we went to buy her a few extra goodies from the pet shop and all was fine when we got in. She does seem to be settling in very well indeed and I am getting used to managing all three of them on the lead! So far we have taken them together for all their walks but I need to make sure I can manage them ok alone before going back to work next Monday. Very much enjoying our houseful of hounds at the moment!

Merlin
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I met you for the first time today Merlin and you are such a beauty. It was my pleasure to walk alongside you, followed by a little chat and big cuddle when we got back to the kennels. Let's hope your new owners are just around the corner as you are a fantastic dog. Tx

What a gorgeous girl you are Snip. Lively and so willing to give lots of wet kisses, it was a pleasure to sit in with you today and have a chat & a cuddle. You were attracting a lot of attention from the volunteers and I'm sure it won't be long before lucky new owners arrive to take you home. Tx

What an absolute pleasure it was for me to walk with you today Tom. You are such a gentle beautiful boy and rather than jumping up at me, you moved backwards (away from the door) as I opened your kennel to put your lead on before we went for our stroll. You are a little gem and the pleasure was mine as we headed along the A45. I'm so glad I got chance to say 'bye' as you lay in the back of your lucky owners car, ready to be taken to your new home. Be very, very happy Tom. Tx

Milly (Betty)
I’m Homed
Milly is doing really well after her op on Friday, she hasn't even tried to take off her plaster from where her lump was removed! Unfortunatly she seems to be allergic to elastoplast and where her drip was on her front leg is now all red and sore from the plaster! Other than that she is much perkier today and we are all looking forward to a walk this afternoon in the sun 🙂
