Thank goodness Boo has found a home, I did fear that Belle's trip over would have had to be delayed so I could take her too. I hope her new family enjoy her antics, she looks a little darling and such a fun girl.

This was emailed to me by one of her friends who spent Wed night cuddling him. " What can I say, so so sorry - and he looked so well last night. He was the sweetest dog and against all the odds you saved him. As you know I would have given up a lot earlier. He had a great time with you and had more love than most dogs get in a whole lifetime. He will be so fondly remembered by everyone who met him. Take care you guys and although at the moment you can't get past this, you will in time start remembering to good times. I'll call you in a couple of days. Bless you both and all the dogs XX"

As Ruth has said she's kindly allowing me to bring 'Adorable Anabelle' to the Stratford Walk tomorrow. If there is anyone coming on the walk tomorrow who perhaps does have it at the back of their mind that they would like to give a loving home to a sweet affectionate loving girl they would find Annabelle fits the bill perfectly. On friday she spent the day in the Daybreaks kitchen with 5 other greys with no problems whatsoever (apart from Merlin trying to scrounge everyones biscuits !!!) Hopefully someone will soon fall in love with her and be able to give her the forever home she so deserves.

I'm coming to the end of our Burns food. I haven't managed to find a local supply and I wondered if I could pop in this week and buy some from the centre? I also need a fleece for Crofty to wear in the house because although my husband doesn't know (as he works away during the week) I've been leaving the heating on at night for him shhhhhhh! He does so love the radiator it would be like denying him food.

Ah Charlie you look a happy Chappy, I am always drawn to 'Charlies' as this was the name of my first amazing Grey !! hope they all have a settled night at the kennels its soooo windy here I feel like the roof is about to blow off !! had trouble even getting my two in the garden for thier last pee, they just stood at the door looking and thinking please can we hold it until the morning !! so I| had to gently persuade them into the garden !!!! big pussies xx

At the kennels we have cameras on all the dogs so I can ensure they are ok and settled. I have been watching Annabelle all evening (eek - apologies to the chairman as I was at a Trust committee meeting!) and she has been quite unsettled. I have therefore just been up to the kennels to fetch her..... boy is she happy! She bounced straight through our front door and has curled up on a bed straight away! She will go to the Stratford walk with Norman on Sunday - let's hope someone on the walk will fall in love with her! x

Just brought Milly home from Fivelands where she has had all but her canines removed. The op was getting too long and they didn't feel they had time to remove her canines. She is looking very sorry for herself with a dribbly/bloody mouth, tounge hanging out and a glazed expression. Shall be keeping a close eye on her tonight. She also had a lump removed from her tummy - we think it was just a wart but it is being sent off to the lab just to be sure. Love my Milly xx

I met sweet Annabelle in the kitchen today. The gorgeous Merlin was front of the queue for some fuss, but Annabelle was hot on his heels to be next in line for a cuddle. So sweet and gentle and pretty too - she melted my heart. xxx
