Heaven gained a very special angel today...... Thank you Tracey for taking the time to call me to let me know. Bandit has made the newspapers !! He's featured in the Greyhound section of todays Racing Post as RGT Greyhound of the week with his own picture and profile. Looks very handsome! Hope this helps this lovely fella find his forever home.

HI I buy seaweed from Hilton Herbs and the horse version - the dog version is the same (tho check with Hilton in case its changed) but has VAT on it so buy VAT-free for horses 🙂 If you do suspect thyroid problems your vet can do a blood test but make sure they do a Free T4 test which is apparently more accurate and greys can appear to be OK until the Free T4 is tested 🙂 The treatment used to be Thyroxl which is very cheap. The Aussie greyhound vet John Kohnke said at a lecture that bald greyhound bums coud be either thyroid problems or dehydration so be sure to add lots of water to your dogs feed especially if you feed a complete. Thanks for the info ... always keen to learn more 🙂 J x
