Thank you to everyone for your good wishes, Buddy as we're calling him now is settling in well. He's such a lovely friendly loving boy, a joy to have around. He loved his walk in Sutton Park today and wanted to run round with others, but a bit too soon for that!! We'll take him up the run Sunday hopefully and he can stretch his legs. So all looking good so far.

The girls gave Boo a lovely groom today in readiness for her visitors on Sunday. She loved the attention and stood nicely whilst they brushed her and made her smell beautiful! I so hope everything goes well. xx

Daisydog here ' I miss Julies training soooooo much; mum and me stood in a muddy field in the rain for an hour and mum blew a whistle. Four other people blew whistles too. It was hopeless....even the cheese didn't make up for it. Best bit was lunch with my chum Katie and a lie down on her fluffy rug. Mum says by week 10 we'll both be enjoying it!!!!!' Seeing other breeds makes me realise what fantastic, wonderful, intelligent, glorious dogs our greys are....and how so often it is the right dog that finds us. I don't respond well to a whistle either and I'd rather have a nice lunch than stand in the rain for an hour. Next week its 'Go Play; Bring your Own rabbit' Love you Daisydog. xxx P.S. I made up the bit about the rabbit.

  • Bandit (Andy)

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Bandit has today paid his first visit to Brueton Park in Solihull. He travels perfectly in the car jumping in and out with no problems. His behaviour in the park could not have been better. He was relaxed while walking on the lead and behaved with perfect manners when meeting other dogs showing no aggression or stress towards them. Bandit you were a joy to take out and any family looking to home a dog who would enjoy days out and about with them would find you the perfect companion. Your certainly ready for that home now. Lets hope it arrives soon.

Jess is such a sweet girl. Me n my boys had a lift home in Robbies land rover last night cuz of the rain n we had the company of little Jess in the back with us. She had only met Charlie n Louis a couple of minutes b4 n she was so good, unmuzzled in the back with us. She'll make a great pet for some lucky family. X

We will be over about 11 with our two and fingers crossed they will all get on! Do you think three will be ok to squash into the back of my Mazda 2? That's my only slight concern really - our two are as docile as anything and brilliant with other dogs, so I am pretty confident they will all get on! Looking forward to seeing her on Sunday! xxx

Belle is gaining weight nicely now and being a really good girl. She is off to France on the 17th February and I have her pet passport now.... I am going to put her photo in it today! She loves her walks and is so full of life - I wish I could let her off the lead to have a good run - but she will be able to do this in her new home - such a lucky girl! x

Poor Snip - she was bitten yesterday by her kennel mate and had to be taken to Fivelands to be stitched up. This gave us the opportunity to take her nice new photo at the vets! Sadly it was quite a deep bite so we are keeping a close eye on her x

Jess came home with me last night so I can take her straight to Fivelands vets this morning for her spey. She has been an absolute angel - LOVES her food and although she had been fed at the kennels, she woofed down another bowl of dinner! She has been totally clean and slept really well. We had a visit from Millie and Grey-faced Joey last night so we had 12 here and she took it all in her stride!!!! She is a lovely leggy girl - just gorgeous!
