My mums knitting when missing today and after a short search we found it on Kizzys bed .... she hadn't destroyed it she was just looking after it 🙂 and looked very pleased with herself. Kizzy was very reluctant to go for a walk today she took one look out of the door and obviously thought not on your Nellie mate I am not going out there today ... to windy and wet 🙂 . We got there in the end though lol. She is so so settled here now and really part of the family Was good to see so many at Stratford last Saturday , it never ceases to amaze me how generous the public are with their donations . will defo be there next time. See some of you Sunday , will be there

Hi Dingo'sMom, could you pop him up to the kennels on Saturday - we have viewings booked and as we have so few dogs available he may just find his home! As we found with Joey Ray, being back at the kennels permanently is probably the quickest way to find him his forever home 🙂

Hi Ruth, just looking at the hair loss around Anabell's face particularly the ears, in my experience could be caused by over active thyroid which is common in black greyhounds. It doesn't usually present other problems (except a little skitishness) but from a cosmetic point of view the hair loss can be offputting (two black dogs at the kennels where i kept my racing greyhounds have been wrongly accused of mange and overuse of muzzles, which was not the case) my retired black hound had the same problem and he has the same diet as the other two greys in the house. Upon advise we tried Sea Kelp tablets from Holland & Barrett and the fur under his belly and behind his ears grew back. It is safe for racing dogs to take too as there are only natural ingredients and it improved the appearence of the other dogs at the kennel and a family members pet G too. It doesn't cost alot and like i say it is perfectly safe, so if there is no other reason for the lovely Annabell's hair loss, then it may be worth a try...

If your greyhounds are anything like our three they def don't like all this cold, windy, rainy weather! They are grateful for the lovely knitted neckwarmers we got on our last visit to Daybreaks. xxx from Misty, Larry & Lucy
