I’m Homed
Jack is on his holidays in Devon and has had a very tiring day. We have been on a lovely walk which involved a pub (its not a real walk unless a pub is involved!) where he met a labrador and a cockapoo. He was a star as usual with both even when the cockapoo tried to get him to play. Everyone commented on what a good boy he is and how well behaved all the dogs were together, we were very proud parents! He is now snoring wrapped up in a blanket by the fire. Tomorrow will be much of the same and looking at him now i think Jack will be happy with this plan 🙂 xx

Twiggy slept better than expected...but we had to give in and let her go up the stairs as she just wouldn't settle, after nearly eight years its hard to tell her to sleep somewhere else! Did own up to the vet this morning, he agreed to give in to her too!! He showed us her new bladder on the scan. He is very pleased with how it is looking today. She has spent the whole day sleeping....no change there then!! Xxx

Our first Grey had Cushings and it took a while to get the right level of medication for him. I hope the vets soon find the right level of drugs to keep him symptom free.xx xx

Jinks also met her new greyhound brother today, a lovely lad called Bertie. She loved him and I think the feeling was mutual! All being well she will be off to her new home on Saturday. Xxx

After what has been one of the longest days of my life, Twiggy is back at home with us. Following an operation which lasted over three hours she is now minus a spleen and has a reconstructed bladder! Chris, her vet is very pleased with how everything went and is hopeful the growth was benign. She is a very sore little girl tonight. Thank you so much for all the lovely comments of support they really do help. I must say a big thank you to Ruth and everyone at the kennels today...especially Sara and Lorraine for doing their best to cheer me up with their impromptu duet! Sending my cuddle to my beautiful Twiggy. Xxx
