I'm very excited. We have had an email today to say Louis and I have been accepted for the Kennels Clubs Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bronze Factor Challenge at Crufts 2014. It just rolls off the tongue ;-). We will be there on the Sunday. If we pass or if we get 'there is work required' we are very excited at the opportunity to be a part of crufts. I'm sure Louis with his new found celebrity status will be hanging around the Perry Barr RGT stand in his down time signing autographs and promoting to passersby why this beautiful breed make such amazing pets.

Breeze was home with out Archive yesterday (he was at the vets for a castrate). She was v timid out on her walks, with out him in the house she was v jumpy with things like the phone, washing machine etc all things she was fine with until then. At one time it looked like Archive would have to stay over night, He got home at 8pm Breeze hasnt been far from him today!! But i feel she is better as part of a pair she is much braver when there is a bigger dog to hide behind. You did the right thing Sue. Xxx

Our boy Archive has been doing the same thing to poor Breeze.... at least i know am not the only person in the world wandering around with a torch!! the look on her face she would have rung Auntie Ruth to come get her. Last straw was Fri had washed all their bed covers and blankets steamed all the beds and pillows, they went out Breeze come running back in rolled on her back on the bed, (her prefered way to have her feet dryed nd the mud removed) And you guessed it !!! Archive went to the vets yesterday!! Hoping that will help in the long run, in the mean time will b thinking of you 2slimdogs.Xxx

Crofty is so chilaxed and doing so well. He is starting to loose his kennel coat and he's got a lovely sheen to his coat. He loves to conserve energy and only moves if it's worth his while. I walk and sit around the house fully tooled up with mobile phone & tv controls tucked down my bra just in case I forget for a second and he chews them again.

Sending a cuddle to Basil, and keeping everything crossed that he can tolerate the medication. Again like Julie, Paul & I only have experience of Cushings in horses, as our oldie (a ridiculous 33 this year - Paul's owned her since she was 5!!) has it and has been on traditional meds (as mentioned by Julie) for around 3 years now. The meds - a daily pill - control her symptoms in the main which is great, and am really hoping you can get into a similar situation with Basil. xxxx
