Being our longest stayer at the kennels, I thought I would give little Boo a break from being at the kennels and she has come home with me tonight. She is sooooo sweet - she promptly scoffed an extra bowl of food (kindly left by Belle) and has settled in the front room and is currently fast asleep - what a treasure! I am sure sarah and lovegreys - she would love a few trips out! 🙂

Little Miss Belle is adorable. She has come home again with me tonight and I have been trying to get her to eat with all sorts of things - she has not been tempted at tinned dog meat, corned beef or pate but I finally got her to eat some cheese. She just looks so very sad and thin - I am desperate to see her tail wagging 🙁

Left Dingo and Luke together, unmuzzled, for the first time today while we were at work and it seems like they were fine. Luke has eaten his food and is still not chasing the cat (even though Walter keeps going up to him to sniff him). I just hope when he's less nervous he continues to be good with the cats. I still feel too nervous to let him approach the cats even with his muzzle on as I would hate them to get hurt, maybe let them get closer at the weekend.

So pleased for this lovely boy, so quick too 🙂 Walked this lovely lad a few times when he was at Bark Inn. When I first fostered Lennox (from Bark Inn) in Aug he marked his territory but he wasn't done at that time and when he went back he was. I have Lennox again on foster and even though he did cock his leg a few times, after a couple of sharp 'AA's he no longer does it. I was told if I needed to a long scarf or T towel wrapped round his waist so when he did he would wet himself which they don't like. I never got to that stage so I don't know if it really works. I wish you well with your new boy and I'm sure in no time these niggley bits will be a thing of the past 🙂 x

Hi Lorraine. We plan to be at the kennels about 10.30am on Saturday if suits you. We would have to get Boo (or whoever we are allowed to take) back for 3.00pm in time for feeding. Does that sound ok? Looking forward to it. p.s. Kate has my mobile number if would like it. Nicola. x

Hi slimdogs I'm pleased to hear Cooper is doing so well. There are ways you can help with his marking. If you give the kennels a call they will be able to advise you. X

Over Christmas I was at the kennels showing some of the volunteers a little Clicker Training and we used Bandit ... what a quick boy 🙂 We were asking him to put his nose on a toy on the floor to earn a 'click' and a treat ... he walked to me and Sarah just to see if we'd give him a treat then he shot over to the toy and put his nose on it then looked round as if to say 'D'ye see that?, where's my reward?' I really loved him ... such a bright boy 🙂 He deserves a very special home that'll carry on teaching him lots of tricks and games 🙂 J x

Luke had his castrate and dental yesterday and was collected from our house last night by his foster mum and dad..... who clearly adore him! The vets loved him - he reminds me very much of Kite - one of my long lost favourites x
