  • Abigail

    I’m Homed

Typing on iPads isn't my thing so hopefully all the words come out right, predictive text is either the greatest or worst invention ever. Abigail had a quiet Christmas and is eating much better. She appears to be settling down, though she is really cat focused. In many ways she has brought the puppy out in Denny, who will know come up to make sure he gets his share of fuss. They both loved the sprouts at Christmas dinner time, I just refused to sit by them!! Denny broke into the mince pie tin while we were out and scoffed 19 of them, then had stomach ache. Abi was not interested and was a good girl.

Ted had his dental yesterday he only lost one tooth which was surprising if you saw his teeth he has a bit of receding gum which means lost of teeth brushing in the future he's had a bit of a unsettled night and has decided he does not like scrambled egg but would rather eat weatabix and then tried to get in on Minnie's dinner .minnie was so pleased to see him when he came back from the vets she ignored me

( everyone will be trying to find Kitty a brother soon so be prepared !!!! ) ha ha only joking !!! truly I am so pleased for you all Kitty could not have a better home, what a lovely start to the New Year. If ever you fancy a trip to Stratford you would be more than welcome to use the field to run Kitty off the lead and she could have a run with Bertie & Blade xx

  • Ellie

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Ellie has spent the morning in Brueton Park with Crofty. She travels well in the car and is very easy to walk on the lead. As she has shown before on Stratford Roadshows she has no problems with any other breeds that she meets while on on the lead. As with Crofty today one small dog off the lead who was being rather a nuisance prompted a reaction but not in an overly aggressive way. She is an absolute delight to take out and has been on several roadshows without any problems whatsoever. This lovely girl is ready and waiting for her permanent home to come along. It surely cannot be far away now.

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Crofty has had a morning out in Brueton Park (together with Ellie). He travelled perfectly in the car and was very relaxed on the lead. He met lots of small dogs and despite his 150 plus races spent chasing small fluffy objects his behaviour towards them caused no problems whatsoever. One small dog off the lead who was being rather a persistant pain was given a warning nod but every other dog he met caused him no problem whatsoever. This lad is one very loving and well behaved boy who deserves to find his forever home as soon as possible.

Well i think that most of you guessed that Kitty's forever home would be ours. We have both fallen in love with her! Kitty has now got dad's credit card, and will be heading to the shops this weekend for some stylish outfits, accessories and a pampering session at Daybreaks. But she won't be a spoiled girl as training begins soon! Many thanks to everybody for the encouraging words and comments, Including Michelle's arm twisting ;-). i know that if we need any help or advice we can soon tap the vast experience and knowledge that you all have. see you all soon, Martyn,Karen & Kitty

  • Belle

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Gorgeous Belle is still looking for her forever home - she really is such a loving little lady who just wants someone to snuggle up to in her retirement! She loves her walks & is happy with either a long adventurous hike or a short sniffy meander- either way she takes to her bed as soon as she's back to sleep off the exertion! She is still clean in the house & has adapted well to our routines 🙂 One thing I can say is if you sit down for long enough you'll soon find Belle squeezing in next to you, resting her head on you or just reaching out with her paw to touch you... She'll be your shadow & the bestest hound-friend you could wish for! Please give her a chance! X

Ha ha!! Who would ever have guessed ?!? Hands up anyone who DIDN'T think to themselves...."that dog won't be going back after Christmas".....Seriously though......well done Martyn & Karen. How far you have come since Paul & I talked to you in Melbicks (was it only in November?) when you were thinking of having a greyhound once you got the house sorted out. Guess you have either worked very fast or realised just how adaptable these lovely dogs can be, not to mention that Kittly will have stolen your hearts! The amazing thing is that Lena's antics at Melbicks didn't put you off at all 😉 All the very best to you and your new addition xxxx
