As much as I love boo my problem would be how do u fit four greyhounds onto two sofas it's already like the gold rush when they come in from outside who will make it to the comfort of the sofa,s first and who gets the spot on the floor -perhaps If I win the lottery but she is tempting xx

Hi Jules1967. You sound just like me just over 4 years ago. Gent was my first 'pet' and I was petrified. In reality, all he wants to do is eat, sleep and 'walkies'. It's amazing how quickly they adapt to a routine and I felt like Gent had been with forever after only a week. Even with our second, Emily, she settled after about a fortnight with Gent's help. Don't be too worried, as you say, you got us all behind you and a quick question or to share a funny story is only a phone-call or web-post away. We've all been first-time Greyhound owners too, so we'll all be happy to share our experiences with you. Good luck, sounds like a lovely little girl has come into your lives and you're gonna have a great time. Mand x

Very sad news that poor Holly did not recover from an unknown illness - her family are devastated. Big hugs to them at their sad time. Holly - run free little one..... Our second Greyhound Holly ran free also at 7 years old - such a young age.... 🙁

Kizzy has some pics to show you all but she is unsure who to send them to. Kizzy tackled her first flight of stairs today and was very pleased with her self when she got to the top and then tried out every bed for comfort :). Its like I said to her "if the daleks can conquer stairs then so can you" 🙂 She is getting on very well with Paddy he even let her try out his basket which must be at least 5 times to small for her (was very funny) xx

We are so very excited to be getting Ellie. Home visit tomorrow - everything crossed all OK. Just a little nervous as not had a 'real' pet before but determined to make it work and with all the support of the kennels and volunteers we know there will be no shortage of help. Love to all the other dogs - all gorgeous but we had our eye on Ellie for a few weeks now. XXX
