I am keeping everything crossed for Pumpkin tonight - Terry and Paul who are fostering him telephoned me a short while ago to let me know he is a very poorly boy with suspected bloat. He has been admitted and is on a drip and I hope to hear in the next hour how he is doing.

Would be great if we could all meet up on these walk meets! I would say the Dec 15th meet at Stratford race course would be ideal for us, as it gives us time to get Den settled in here at home. Glad you got to see him, so looking forward to tomorrow! ")

Thank you for all your messages, I have a big boy asleep on his bed next to me !! The vets opened up the wound but could not find anything, they x rayed it and it looks like the bone has arthritis and a degenerative condition and so they have sent some off to do a biopsy !! I am so relieved though as I was so worried about Blade going under general anaesthetic!! He is going to have extra hugs and kisses for the next few days !! X

Jay had this problem, he cut his pad on glass, after several courses of various antibiotics and an operation to reopen the wound to wash it out, it still wouldn't heal properly. He ended up having his toe removed which sorted the problem. It certainly doesn't worry him!

I have a horrible wait today as my lovely big boy blade cut one of his pads open last week, he has had a course of antibiotics but it is still really swollen and is still bleeding, we went back to the vets on Monday ( and saw Black and white Bert greyhound who was homed in March, he was there with a poorly tummy) but it still isn't right so claire the vet is giving him a general anaesthetic today so she can have a proper route around ! So we have a horrid waiting day ahead of us, I just hate to have him put under anesthetic at his age it really worries me ! Roll on 4pm when we will no more, blade and Bertie will be having steak for tea xxx

I really loved seeing him yesterday he is a fantastic boy and he is quite closely related to both of our boys xx Lets speed through tomorrow and onto Saturday so Den can get to snuggle with his forever family and take over the sofa lol ! It would be lovely to catch you and Michelle on the next walk xxx (ps I promise not to steal him again 😉 ) x

Although I have never met Josie and your family, I am so sorry to hear your sad news. It is obvious that you adored her. Looking at her pictures I can see she was a very beautiful girl. Wishing you happy memories. x

Glad you got to see Den before we collect him, thanks to your hubby! We shall take great care of him and give him his forever home,he'll be much loved for sure! Myself and Michelle cant wait till saturday, thought this week would drag but its gone quite fast! We'll def bring him on the next walk as it would be great to meet you guys off here, and see other greys!
