Clare, I am so very very sad to read this news. It's not at all what I was expecting to read when I checked in this morning, so I can only imagine the pain that you and Jim must be feeling right now. Words will never be enough but I know that you will have very special memories of Josie and you should both feel very proud that you gave her such a loving home after she'd clearly been through some darker times. I hope that time will do it's job and that you will all heal with its passing, and remember all the good things. Sleep tight beautiful Josie. All our love, Linda, Paul, Lola & Lena xxxx

Minnie - At least putting her in a freezer would keep her out of mischeif! She pinched my new ear muffs out of my shopping bag last night and slobbered all over them and they smell pretty vile now. I've since heard that butter can help to remove gum aswell so I'll give that a go later if she stands still for me!

Hi dave58 I had the pleasure of walking Den and helping the kennels yesterday. What an absolute please he was to be with. Caring looks for other dogs ... wanting to be alongside, not tugging away ... as for feeding time, I hope you have high ceilings :))) ... such a star, enjoy your day of collecting him and the time you'll have together.

Our beautiful Josie went to Rainbow Bridge this morning. We are heartbroken. The vet called early this morning to say he had checked on Josie and she had been fine but half an hour later she had collapsed. They found blood in her abdomen. A ultra sound found she had advance cancer in her liver and that was causing the bleeding. It was completely unrelated to the thyroid. Sadly there were no positive ways forward. We are taking comfort in the fact we couldn't have known and she was in the best place when this happened, they acted on it immediately, kept us informed and she did not suffer. Josie was an amazing girl and had so much love to give despite not having the best start in life. She was a part of the acupuncture research project which helped her confidence so much and hopefully her results will go on to help lots of other dogs. She will be with Ellie now. Josie you are such a special girl, you've bought us so much happiness and we are really going to miss you. Run free beautiful . Lots of love Mum, Dad, Louis and Tigger the cat. Xxxx

Daisydog here' hi Bertie and blade, well I'm loving my new home by the sea. It's a bit chilly so mum is going to get me some pjs so I can be extra snugly at night! I have a new grey friend called Katie and am meeting lots of new dogs when I go for walks. Mum says the move went really well and I am an amazing girl for taking it all in my stride. Mum has left me for a few hours to get used to my new place and I have been a perfect poppet. Fashion wise I am certainly the best dressed girl round here! Thank you for asking how we are... All good so far and lots of cats to stare at!! It's Daisy's gotcha day real soon so I will do a seaside update then. Love and hugs to all our chums. Xx
