Con went for a lovely long walk in the back fields this morning with Ginny. I must say this is where his real character shows- ears up and interested in everything around him. Also once you have gained his trust he loves to walk close to you in a lovely relaxed manner. Hopefully his cautious nature towards people in his kennel will not hold him back for too long from finding his home as it is when he is out and about that his true personality can really be seen.

Thanks rumblesmom, tinkersnan and steve for your kind comments! Ebony looked good in our home so it had to be Den. We're all looking forward to collecting him on saturday! Trellis is up and spikey plant and water feature are out and filled! He has his bed, treats, food and water bowl and stand waiting for him!

Bess has gone and got chewing gum on her back, god knows how she has managed that!! Any ideas as to how I can get this off as pulling it will hurt her and I don't want to cut it out as it could leave her with a bald patch and ruin her coat. She is a menace !!!! xxxxxx

Hi, Josie is through her operation and they have removed it! Plus they have x-rayed her chest and it has not spread! There are a couple of minor concerns but nothing to worry about too much. I can't begin to tell you how happy and relieved we are. They are keeping her in tonight and will update us on her progress tomorrow. A huge thank you to Ruth for helping out with Louis today. Xx

Hi Debbie It's so nice to hear how Kitty is doing, we had the pleasure of taking Miss Kitty to the Solihull open day !! We have only ever had one dog at a time until we had blade earlier this year and it took a few weeks to master walking two !! also I found it really difficult to give fuss to two, I thought it would upset Bertie if he saw me loving blade, but after a while it just all comes together , It took me a few months to be totally at ease with the change to two !! But now I would not change it for the world !! Two waggy happy tails in the morning and four big brown loving eyes looking at you it's just amazing !!! Xx

Kitty has been an angel...so far! She is appearing to be more relaxed. Ate her tea, had a walk with Bryn and enjoyed lots of fuss. She slept all night in her bed without a sound and was quick to jump onto our bed this morning for a cuddle! Walking 2 dogs on my own will take some getting used to. Also not yet attempted to leave both dogs alone together, which we will have to do soon. But Kitty is a real sweetiexxx
