Hi DuleekDandy. Thanks for the tips ref bathing & moisturising. What sort of oil do you use? I can imagine most will moisturise but wondered if you've found one that works best for Bob? Love to all, hope to see you soon..... xx

Hi Clare. Lena has been miserable, because we've had to muzzle her to stop her chewing the dressings. Thank goodness when she went back to see the nurse this morning they have finally come off. Now she just has to get used to wearing her new Thera-Paw boots! She will be pleased that she can go out for a little walk now as well. We will be doing what we can to stop the corns coming back too.... xx

I’m Homed
Hi Claire R. Just to help put your mind at rest as I know how much you loved Flossie, I came and sat with you and Flossie for a while on Sunday, she has gone out on trial with my mom, I stayed with mom for a couple of days to help Flossie find her feet, she is beautiful and so well mannered ( all of which I am sure are down to the loving home you gave her ) Flossie will want for nothing and will be much loved she is already the centre of attension !! my mom does not work and so she will never be left for very long, she has already met my two greys, they all got on really well and Flossie is my Blades sister ( they look so alike, its those georfeous big brown eyes ) I hope this brings you some comfort as I know myself the not knowing must be terrible. love to you and your family x

Thank you so much for the kind words and thoughts it really has meant a lot to us. The vet was very patient with me while I asked a hundred and one questions this evening. We think the lump may have gone down slightly so we are trying another week of antibiotics. If it goes down then brilliant that is what we are hoping for. If it remains the same or gets bigger in the next week she will need to have it removed. The vet explained in detail the risks etc because of where it is by her windpipe and a main artery but reassured me she had done the procedure before on a smaller dog with a bigger lump. We are really hoping it is just a bad infection in her thyroid and the antibiotics will do the trick. We are keeping everything crossed. Thank you again for thinking of us it's great to have such a supportive network of friends that understand and can relate to how we feeling when one of our greys aren't well. X

Boo
I’m Homed
The shy ones are so very rewarding. I know Daisydog very well and it's been great watching her blossom, and I'm not her mum so how proud must missfifi be?!? Another example is little Bunny who we fostered earlier this year. We loved having her around, watching her come out of her shell and getting the ultimate reward of a new home. So for anyone who is looking, please don't dismiss Boo just because she is shy and does not show herself too well in kennels. xxxx
