Hi Susy just looking at Reeko's pictures especially the top and bottom ones and thought that looks like Ben (Monkspath Mumbai), they have the same Mum,does that mean he can have a half membership to the icemaid clan? Reeko looks a cracking lad!

As we walk the familiar paths of our village we usually come across at least one other dog, yesterday it was 5, and a couple of cats. Lucy still goes barking mad when she sees another dog and jumps and flies and twists but we can see some improvement in that she is starting to calm down a bit quicker after these incidents. But not today as we went somewhere different for a walk and the greys met their first SQUIRREL. All 3 got very excited!!

When we got there for Noddy, her and Fraser were let into a run together but it didn't go well. I asked for Mandy to come in with him and it went perfect. Even managed to encourage her out for a walk. I had the two of them side by side and she was gteat. It was emotional but I feel we made the right decision.

Norris

A huge well done to Norris and to Nat for handling him so brilliantly and getting your Gold! I know how difficult Gold can be because Lola just missed out on it by 1 exercise the other week when we had a go (ironically it was the send to bed - for the dog who loves her bed more than anything else in the world). I'm wondering whether I should ship her over to you for a training boot camp or maybe borrow Nat next time we have a crack at it ?!? Congratulations again.....you should all feel very proud of your achievement and please give Norris a big hug from us. Lots of love Linda, Paul, Lola & Lena xxxx

Tilly (Snowy)

Without a doubt, Tilly is my new BFF! She follows me everywhere! I've had to ban her from coming into the bathroom with me though as she has tried to wee on the toilet a few times - which hasn't been overly successful. Bless her. Ive been trying to train her basic commands and all is going quite well. She waits now - politely - in front of her food bowl and only eats it when I say and she's learning to shake paws. She is infinitely more intelligent than I initially gave her credit for and is fairly quick to learn. I think she is training ME more than I'm training her. I've come to the conclusion that whilst we may 'own a greyhound', a greyhound does infact own our heart in quite an equal measure. I think it should be law that everyone HAS to own a greyhound. I think I shall put this to my MP... 🙂

Norris

Norris strikes again. I can't make up my mind if he's very intelligent or totally daft. Since he passed his Silver he's been training for the gold. Every week he acts the class clown rather than doing what he's supposed to. Recall - he looks at me and goes in the opposite direction, send to bed - he walks 2steps turns and looks at me as though he hasn't got a clue what to do next, and as for recalls well...... Last night was the gold assessment but I couldn't work him as I've damaged my knee so one of the boys was allowed to step in. I wasn't hopeful. Guess who made a fool of me! When it mattered he did what he was supposed to and passed! Well done Nat and Norris, I'm so proud of you both.
