Hi all, we have sore jaws from smiling all afternoon & evening. Heather was so excited when I told her Harry is staying. Stephen is v happy too, he pretended to be miffed for about 2 secs once I confessed I reserved Harry (we had already said we probably would but he hadn't actually said yes). Thanks for your lovely comments folks, and can anyone help with fostering please - its only 8 nights?

congratulations Tracey and Harry ! This news has really made my day!! Being a failed foster parent has its perks , we are so glad we failed as Blade is such an amazing boy, it was only when it came to giving him up that We realised fully how much we loved him , we have no regrets at all, and I have been reading all Harry's posts in the hope this would happen !!! If ever you are in the Stratford area we have a safe enclosed field where Harry could be let off the lead and he could have a run with his old mate Blade!! I don't know if it was just too overwhelming at the show ???? Anyway congratulations to you and Harry xx

Daisydog and I are so please we are both squeaking with delight.................FABULOUS. I could see just how much you love him on Sunday. It's just brilliant news. I am soooooo sorry that we cannot foster him again for a week - but Daisydog and I are busy getting ready to move house.............it's the seaside for us. Yippee. xx

Just a little update. Sparky continues to flourish in France! Yes, he has teamed up with Fire which is good and bad. He has picked up from Fire on nipping on excitement at walkies time but we have found that we don't need a harness for him because he pulls on his walk. Paired him with Fire and he is fine with his best mate, hardly pulled at all this morning, except for when a bunny ran across the path! That caused some excitement I can tell you. I think he likes it here. He pays hardly any interest in the chickens now except to pee up their run but obviously excels in the space to run about and then collapse in a heap in front of the woodburner. I think he is learning new food too. Had Salmon for his treat this afternoon and he likes pasta too. He has learnt too that before breakfast, everyone has their vitamin tablet so waits patiently for his tablet in some beefburger. Oh, he loves sardines too as a mid afternoon treat and the olive oil is good for his coat. Has met loads of new people and is fine and my sister is flying over to see Joe on Friday so he will have more people to meet. He is a very friendly boy, still nosey but a delightful boy who we are very pleased to give a home to.

I went to Perry Barr Race Track for my birthday on June 16th last year and put a bet on this little beauty and she came in 1st!! I knew owning a grey myself called Bess was a good omen! What a pretty dog, hope she gets a home very soon. Bess gets my cuddle today xxx

Appeal!!!! Can anyone please help Harry & I? Im off on hols for a week from 25th Oct & desperately want Harry to go to a greyhound family on foster whilst im away as my holiday dog friend is fully booked 🙁 . We are planning to be back on 2nd Nov & formally adopting Harry on the 3rd as I cant bring myself to give him up 🙂 So this is a once in a lifetime chance to experience the love & joy that is Hari - beau......see what i did there. luv tracey reubes & blossom ps i am a failed fostererererr!!!!!! Yippeeeeeee!

In his photo Brett looks very like our Lena. But then they share Brett Lee as their dad. I'm wondering if he has the same very silky coat as she does.....and if he's half as much fun as she is he will be a lovely pet. Must pop in one day next week to say hello! Week off work yippee! xx

We are the racing owners of Brett and can assure you that he has a lovely temperament. He has been one of the best dogs we have ever had. He won A1 in his youth and S2 at Monmore. He won the Owners Bonus competition at P.Barr when he was over 5 yrs. He is very handsome, friendly and will be a loving pet. Plse find him a nice loving family so he can enjoy his retirement, as he deserves it. Lots of love to you Brett. Harryracer.
