Twiggy would like to be a member of the Fatharry eating academy please! Seven years ago we called her Twiggy because she was our tall, slim super model.....but I think maybe we should think about changing her name to Trunky or Chunky! Xxx

Kitty spent the day at Pets at Home, Sheldon helping to raise funds for their Charity Month part of which is contributed to PBRGT. She was wonderfully affectionate towards everyone she met. She was initially very curious towards smaller dogs but towards the end of the day was beginning to accept that they were just smaller versions of the larger breeds which caused her no anxiety whatsoever, Anyone looking for a lively loving girl would find her an ideal companion.

Lou Lou had a day out today at Pets at Home, Sheldon helping to sell raffle tickets for their Charity Month of which part of all money raised will be donated to PBRGT. She behaved perfectly. Loving all the attention she received from P at H customers and also getting a sight of the pet rabbits! However she was perfectly behaved with all the other breeds of dogs she met from large to tiny sizes. She really is the most affectionate loving girl and will make a wonderful addition to any family who are able to offer her the forever home she deserves..

I have just had the news that the beautiful Ellie-May closed her eyes for the last time today. She had another siezure and it was felt the kindest thing to do was to let her slip away. I am heartbroken for her family and I am thinking of them. She was a very lucky girl to have had a wonderful home and to be loved so much. Run free precious girl xxxx

Dear Georgie Girl ....now Lady. A few of us from training went today to say our goodbyes to your first mum Maggie. There was Julie our leader, me & Paul (Lola & Lena's servants), Mel (Joe's mum) and Jayne (Tess's mum). It was sad of course but lovely too, especially because your photo was with her during the service. Rebecca the lovely lurcher-owning and greyhound-loving vicar from Immanuel Church took the service and made it very special. I hope you are being a good girl and remember that your first mum will always be smiling down on you. xxxx

  • Shaun

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

We took Shaun to the Show on Sunday and he is a great lad. He was very 'attentive' towards the small dogs for a while but became much better as he saw more of them. He is very loving and enjoyed the attention and cuddles we were giving to him - not to mention my cheese sandwich and Paul's bacon and egg roll! His eyes lit up and almost came out on stalks! He was very well behaved throughout the day and was a pleasure to take. We felt guilty when we took him back to the kennels and if we did not have 4 greyhounds already - Millie, Nell, Davey and Flynn - we would rehome him ourselves - he is lovely. He is a bit reserved and may not 'sell' himself as other dogs do and not portray the lovely boy that he is. We are sure that in a home, he will show his true character. We recently had Nell and she was very quiet and reserved for a few weeks but has blossomed into a very loving girl and she and Millie are inseparable. Good Luck Shaun, we hope you get your 'forever' home soon - you truly deserve it. Lots of Love Terry, Paul, Millie, Nell, Davey and Flynn. XXXXXX

  • Wilf

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Wilf update. Just had a lovely walk with Wilf, strong on lead at first but after a few minutes was walking beautifully by my side, he is now flat out on his bed! He is becoming less boisterous each day, I think he needs routine and the company of other dogs and he's happy. Hasn't reacted to the cats, rabbit or chickens or other breeds. Gorgeous boy. He will be at Melbicks garden centre on Thursday 17th Oct from 3.30 pm showing how wonderful he is.
