Dexter
I’m Homed
Hello again, thought you might like an update on the delightful Dexter!. Well, Dexter really loves his new home, he is such a happy boy, bouncy and full of fun and life. Cant believe a he has done 126 races, he has got so much energy!! He greets you every morning with a waggy tail and a little jig. He loves his walks and his food and is a real mummys boy (bit of a stalker really). Hes such a character and makes us laugh all the time, its like having a toddler around, hes into everything, such a nosy boy, but we love him to bits. Hes still not great with other dogs, not aggressive but he just gets exceited and wants to rush at them, which is not a good idea sometimes, they dont like it for some reason!, but every walk is a training session and in the last week he seems to have turned a bit of a corner and is much calmer..hes very strong so this is good news for us lol. At the moment he is sunning himself on the decking laid on a nice soft duvet - he seems to be enjoying his retirement and that is what we wanted and what he deserves. xxxxx

Sadly for your Josie, it means she is a half sister to our Lena (Aghaburren Lena) as they have the same dad. Josie might just choose to keep that one quiet! 😉 xx

Wow! I've never really looked up my greys on the greyhound data. I've just had a look at Louis (Carriag Fun) and Josie (Vicarage Jenny) it turns out they have the same Nan from Australia called Sobbing Sal! I'm so excited they are cousins! They both have Aussie Dad's and Irish Mum's! P.S. I'm sure I should be using the terminology Sire or Dam or something along those lines but this make sense to me. Fascinating stuff.

Den
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Took Den to Elmdon park yesterday, he was such a good lad, he took everything in his stride. He seems a smashing laid back kinda guy and loves his cuddles too. He meet several dogs of different sizes and was fine with them, just really interested in everything . So if your looking for a very adaptable, loving lad Den is the grey for you!!!! Sending a big kiss Den xxxxxxx

We could try fostering her if you want Ruth but I'm back at work on the 2nd of September so we may not be the best option for her. Let me know if you want us to though. X

Lena (Angelina)
I’m Homed
Sadly Lena has been returned today after being in a home since 2011 as she has started to become snappy around children. Her owners were really upset to return her and we support their decision to do this. She is good with other breeds of dogs, cat friendly, good off the lead but does get separation anxiety. If you think you could offer this lovely girl a home, please let me know.

Wilma
I’m Homed
Wilma has a wonderful peaceful settles night on her newly claimed sofa, last night. She has been exceptional with her toileting, on her walks and has responded really well to all the short sharp 'no's'. She has been interested in the stairs, but upstairs is out of bounds as that's where we have moved all the kids toys (they have had them downstairs since babies) so it works in Wilmas favour too - she doesn't have to play patient to my two budding doctors 😉 Having her here is such a beautiful and privileged experience for is and sh has settled in very well already!! Not a peep from her in the night, even when my husband got up for work at 5.30, he let her out and she got straight back on the sofa! An amazing girl who we are soooo happy to call our own Love The Sheridans xx
