Oh Duggie, I'm so sorry we didn't take you home with us on Saturday. I just thought you were too interested in the cats and although I don't think you would hurt my cats (you just wanted to play!) I know Walter would be very scared of you 🙁 I really hope you find your forever home soon. I give you my cuddle today beautiful boy. Xxxx

Lulu is a sweet girl and I agree with Lady Victoria she has a lovely bouncy personality you wouldn't think she is 10 yrs old. Lulu gets on with the other Greys that are staying with me this week, she's eating well and loves going for her walk. She is such a lovely girl I really hope she finds her own sofa and home soon she would be no trouble except for wanting lots of cuddles and looking pleadingly in to your eyes with love and affection xxxx

Angel

Angel discovered upstairs today and no sooner had I left my bed than she was curled up happily on my pillow 'purring' as loudly as any cat! We called at the vets to get her weighed--only 22.5kg--then went into town. It was market day and busy with people but I was surprised at how well Angel coped. We passed a few dogs, one of which barked fiercely at her but Angel ignored them all, in fact since last Friday all our walks have been peaceful, I'm amazed at how well she is doing. At one point she became a bit overwhelmed by the number of legs and refused to move so had to be carried to a less busy spot where she was fine and continued walking. Such a good dog xx

Blade

I really do hope Blade is OK. I met him yesterday when I called in for food and got 'trapped' in the office during the thunderstorm which hit just after 4pm. He is quite simply a gorgeous boy and such a gentle soul and I hope the Daybreaks TLC will do the trick. xxx

Larry

Larry has more coats than I have! A sleep coat, a rain coat a cool coat and now a thunder coat. We tried the borrowed thunder shirt on him yesterday but also had to lead him up in his harness to stop him from panicking. He must think thunder is some big invisible monster we all need protecting from. Some advisers advocate no interaction with the dog so as not to reinforce the fear behaviour but it helped Larry to calm down when we gave him soothing cuddles and gentle strokes. x

Blade
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I brought Blade home with me yesterday as, despite feeding him loads extra, he has still lost more weight. I am taking him to the vets for a check today but he has been very settled overnight and enjoyed the burgers and sausages we cooked for him on the BBQ! Harry was paired with the lovely Bambi and they have been very content and settled all night.
