Bless her, almost my namesake! As we all know, Mandy is short for Amanda, the latin meaning of which means 'worthy of love'. I hope someone falls for her very soon, because what she needs now is a lovely home with a family who will cherish and love her forever. Good luck sweetheart. Mand xx

Despite Mandy's sad past she is a very happy girl; her tail didn't stop wagging all day...even when she was having her teeth cleaned! Can't wait to see her find her special forever home. Xxx

I've just checked Mandy's race history, she ran 96 races and I'm really disappointed to see that she raced virtually every week (sometimes twice) since 2010 until June last year and the thanks she gets is to end up as a cruelty case. I'm not surprised that she looks older than five : ( This said, she was incredibly friendly on her arrival today and lapped up every bit of attention. This little girl deserves a very happy retirement, she has certainly earned it. Good luck Mandy, you will melt someone's heart very soon. Xxx

Tessa
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Tessa is still well behaved, had a few grumps from them all as they all like to swop dishes at mealtimes but nothing serious. Tessa walks extremly well with our other three and has so far never attempted to go upstairs. Getting results with her bounciness around treats. Am in the prossess of teaching 'shake a paw' for things. Sylv

Twinkle

This lovely girl has been staying with us this week whilst we try and find her a new home. She's playful, affectionate, well behaved (mostly!) and good on the lead. She went to Sally's training class Monday and was the star of the show. She loves human company so needs a home with someone around most of the time, good with older kids too. She'll be a great companion for someone and I'll be really sorry to see her go, but with 3 oldies and a playful youngster ((Leo) the extra one is a bit too much at the present time. If you think you could offer a suitable home contact Ruth and we can arrange to meet up, either at kennels or here at our home. Be quick though, this girl is so lovely she'll be snapped up in no time!!
