It is so heart breaking when any dog comes back into kennels after living in a home but especially so when they are one of the older ones, I am so sad to read about Lulu, Blade and Harry, its looking like Bertie is happier as an , only dog', he gets upset when we have another dog round for a long peroid of time, otherwise I would be so tempted with Blade or Lulu, I just hope that thier stay isnt too long , but I know that they will have lots of love and attension whilst they are at Daybreaks.

Oh Sparky this is the best news ever, I am so happy for you !! I am sure that you and Fire will have a wonderful time together ( fire is one of my all time favorites ) and I think about him quite often !!

Ray just loves to play!!! Moving blankets is definitely his forte, and you can't put anything down because he just has to pick it up for you!! He's a lovely, lively pup who just loves to see you. Bless you sweetheart. xx

I met this lovely boy today, and can only repeat what I said about Blade. They have been through so much, but are so friendly and have waggy tails and enjoy a fuss. Just hope that their stay with us is not too long. Big cuddles precious. xx

I met this most beautiful boy today. It is so, so sad for him & Harry and they must wonder what on earth is happening to them. Despite this, he is such a friendly boy and actually wags his tail in greeting, and was happily enjoying his treats this afternoon. We will build him up and hopefully a new home won't be long in coming for him and his pal. Big hugs sweetheart. xx

Max went to Brueton Park this morning and behaved absolutely fantastic. He met several small dogs and came into close contact with them with no problem whatsoever. A pack of 5 loose dogs approached him and although a bit cautious of them at first, relaxed and was fine with them once he knew they were friendly. He is perfect with people and children and would make a perfect pet once in a home.

Hi Minnie It sounds like too much temptation if the dratted cat ran under your feet ... I wish I could find cats that close (sigh) My Mum says I have to 'Leave them' which is really annoying but she does practise at home when she gives me a yummy treat like sausage if i 'leave' a toy and look at her. I've got her thinking I'm really well behaved and I do sometimes stop mid bark and mid lunge when the pesky cat is close so she gives me a treat for being a good girl (she says I'm improving) but given half a chance I'd have the perishing thing 🙁 Mum's been a bit sneaky too and I wear a harness with a lead attached in two places on the harness so she has control of my body and I can't hurt my neck when I'm bouncing ... mind you it didn't stop me haven't a big chunk out of my lurcher friend when he wouldn't let me chase the cat either - blooming creep actually barked at me (Mum says he's telling me off ... ) at least he had a very sore bum for a while LOL. maybe if I stop barking the cat will come and say hello ... I'm going to try that plan LOL ... Lucy xxxx

Mum pet wrote the last comment to soon today I've been naughty my leaving cats alone training is not going to well as I nearly had one today it ran out from under a car as i was next to the car walking past does anyone have any suggestions as to stopping me pouncing on them the cat was fine it ran of but dad pet had to drag me off as I was snarling Distraction is not working And I'm fine with my bunny friends who live in with us any suggestions would be appreciated thank you
