Had lots of cuddles with Libby this morning, she is a very lovely girl. Hope she won't have to wait too much longer for her new home. Xxx

Tessa
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well all went well overnight even with the warm night. Tessa toilets outside, but we do have the doors open all of the day. She had a small bark if you call it that as she has dropped her bit of pigs ear in the basket, but I took it to say that's mine as all have muzzles on at the moment. Otherwise very well behaved and keeping out of the sun. On the treat side she does like to get in first (I think because she's up against three others she will lose out) ?? The New Icemaid Clan

Max
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Max (or as we called him, Mr Darcy) is just the loveliest boy. He is so quiet and calm - there is just something very special about how he is around people. He settled down at my house very fast and spent most of the day crashed out in front of the fan with his cool coat on. Max also loved coming up for cuddles and fuss, he'd just rest his head on you and look like he was dozing off. Whoever adopts Max in the end will be very lucky - he is just fab!

Jack
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Jack was the first dog I ever fostered and he will always have a special place in my heart. I often thought about him and wondered how he was getting on in his home - I still cannot quite believe that he has passed on. Jack showed me, my mum, my boyfriend and his parents just how fantastic greyhounds could be. If it wasn't for Jack, I doubt that I would've had Minnie. If it wasn't for Jack, I don't believe that Martin would've kept Poppy. I am utterly devastated that his time came too soon. Jack was just the best of the best and I will always remember him as such.

Tessa
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I had Tessa for the day whilst the kennels were being repainted and she is such a sweet little girl. She got a little bouncy when she was super excited to see us (possibly because we were carrying our lunch) and she jumped up to rest her front paws on Max's back so she could get a better look at our food! From the few hours that I was looking after her I got the impression that she is a really lovely girl and would make a fantastic addition to any house.

Jack was a lovely sweet-natured boy who had earned a long retirement - my thoughts and hugs go to Claire who fostered and cared for him and to Debs. Love Julie x

Angel
I’m Homed
Hi Bernadette, yes Angel is still looking for a permanent home. We brought her home to foster for a while because she was a bit depressed and had stopped eating in the kennels, she's been in since May. She's perked up since being here and is eating very well. She enjoys her walks and has improved each time in how she reacts to little dogs we meet. We are coming to Daybreaks on Sunday morning to help walk the dogs so can bring Angel if you are interested. xx

Tessa
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well I have to say Tessa arrived home with us an hour or so ago. Met our three girls on neutral ground, and she put my three in their place. But now in home having had drinks and toileting outside she's fine, although like my three a bit on the panting side. No more growling. The New Icemaid Clan X

Duggie
I’m Homed
We had the pleasure of Duggie for the day, what a gentleman he is! He enjoyed his walk to the park, with Blue&Ben,meeting other people and dogs.He did show quite an interest in my toast, but moved away when told.He was so well behaved all day, that it felt wrong to take him back to the kennels. He got on really well with our two, being very polite towards them,in fact Blue carried his muzzle away as if to say he doesn't need that.He is very friendly and will make a lovely companion and pet,I wish we could have him! If your looking for a beautiful loving dog uve just found him ,don't miss out!

Jonti
Over the Rainbow Bridge
We were lucky enough to spend some time with Jonti today !! what fun he is !! and what a handsome boy, he is really affectionate and alert all of the time, it was all we could do to try and stop him running around the garden in this heat ! I think that he would be a loyal boy as he was really attached to his kennel mate Bramble and kept in her in his sight all of the time, he really seemed to want to please, I really love this boy I hope he finds a home really soon as he has such a lot of love to give, we love you Jonti xx
